They sure are making this into a higher budgeted cast. Have they revealed who's producing the English version?

Nothings been said that. One could ask Lance I suppose, as FUNi is doing the DVDs so they might, maybe know something about that.

Which seems a little delayed from what they were initially implying, but if it means that they got a more polished result, it's worth it. It's a not really a bet-the-company move for any of the partners in this project, but a lot still hinges on it. If it works, we'll probably get a spat of million+ per episode projects like it, which is really great for the fans because that basically means theatrical grade animation in TV series form. If it's a flop, it might cap spending on anime series at about the half million per episode mark (aka GitS/IGPX levels.) Thus, anything they can do improve it is worth it.

If this show is a success, it will redefine how companies look at anime and how to market it.

I'll be watching, and I'm sure the presence of Samuel "We've got snakes" Jackson will attract a crowd.
