After getting that excellent video last week, there was some personal favorites of mine on this tape..And that was the Dimwit cartoons.
For those who don't know just who Dimwit is, I tell you.Dimwit was the slow paced dimwited white dog who was the fall guy in the Heckle And Jeckle cartoon one reelers and then starred in his very own series.
"How To Stay Cool" It's a very hot and muggy day in the big city and Dimwit is trying to stay cool.When he notices an advertisment in the paper for cooling off at the beach, Dimwit goes to the beach.One problem after another, first off. Dimwit gets caught up in a major traffic jam and gets his head hit by a polic motorcycle.Once gets to the beach, Dimwit goes for a swim then get caught up in a tidle wave and almost drowns.Then it's time to eat lunch but a lobster want to eat his lunch as well and then a mini fight breaks out between Dimwit and the lobster.After one thing to another Dimwit goes home very hot and tired.
"How To Relax" This is my personal favorite Dimwit cartoon, in which Dimwit is working to hard while working the typewritter non stop.He accidently starts eating his food and then his food get's caught inside the typewritter as he eats.Once Dimwit is home, his nervous is completely shot, just look at him when he starts to smoke, smoking everything in sight with cigars cigarettes sticking out of his mouth his ears.Once his doctor gives him relaxing hobbies to realx his nerves.First he takes up Photography, only to turn the light on and some gun powder exploding after Dimwit stikes a match in the dark.Then it's taking up painting where he has a very bad encounter with a nasty bull.After the bull knocking Dimwit straight into the air, he drops right in front of his doctor's office.Out of nowhere Dimwit looses it and goes crazy pulling out a gun and going inside the doctor's office(with the lights off) and you can hear the gun shot going off (kinda graphic)and the gunsmoke blowing out the window and Dimwit finally relaxes in prison.
"Daddie's Little Helper" In this cartoon. we find Dimwit tobe a proud poppa looking after his mean son.One things leads into another driving Dimwit to go insane after he hears that the stork is on the wat with more kids for Dimwit.He then pulls out his double barrel rifle waiting for the stork to arrive.
All three Dimwit cartoon has narration and Dimwit doesn't even speak in these cartoons.The cartoons borrow the exact same storylines that Disney used on his Goofy "How To Shorts" .
But in all, the Dimwit cartoon are enjoyable to watch and very funny! :D :D :D
