I was flipping through channels when i saw on CN that Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is going to air on Oct 29! I'm like "Wait a minute...isn't that movie owned by Disney? And it's going to air on CN? That is so cool."

Yeah, we've know about it for about a week.
But, still, I think it's awesome, even though the 3-D version is currently in theaters anyways.

How come no one told me about this then? (If everyone else knows about this, that maybe you guys should close this thread...)

Now I wonder if this film will air around Xmas time on CN as well.

also ,add in the fact that ABC Family aired Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, that was a WB Movie
it still lists it as Scooby-Doo for Comcast users..

Maybe they are trying to get on the right track, what with this and the Courage reshowings.

No, its just gonna disappear when Halloween ends.
According to the November schedules in the November thread, Courage is going to STAY on weekdays.
Which is the most awesome thing they could besides putting Sheep back on.

That sounds weird. Disney is supposed to be re-releasing Nightmare Before Christmas in IMAX 3d in theatres.

I think it's funny that CN now has a film that Disney owns (and if I recall, hasn't it even been rereleased under the Disney Brand, as opposed to what it was originally released under?); and yet they couldn't get the rights to Corpse Bride, a movie that a studio under their own corporate umbrella owns.
But perhaps it was a trade...after all CN got a Disney movie, and Disney got Corpse Bride...

What's even weirder is that Corpse Bride was just released in theatres last year and it is already airing on a non-movie channel. Usually movies take 3 years to air on a non-movie channel.

You know, just by seeing the last 10 minutes of this showing, I feel that this movie is a lot cooler looking in widescreen.

"On the network made for cartoons."
That's why they shouldn't be showing the live-action Scooby-Doo movie. Or The Goonies. Or Honey, We Shrunk the Kids. Or Snow Day. Or Dumb and Dumber.

Well, granted, Scooby and HWStK have animation in them, but, true, the rest don't.

Well, granted, Scooby and HWStK have animation in them, but, true, the rest don't.Sure, they have animation in them, but they're mainly live-action. It's not the same as airing, say, Roger Rabbit.
One thing that REALLY bothered me was that they put a commercial break in the middle of the town meeting song. Would it have killed them to wait another minute for the song to finish?

Did they cut out part of the ending? I don't recall it being so rushed.
