Robber loses leg (http://www.kshb.com/Global/story.asp?S=517580&nav=3w5c5I3f)
Looks like the auto parts store up the road from where I work might get national attention due to this hilarious occurance over the weekend!
A bizarre metro robbery leaves the robber in the loss column.
Kansas City Police were called to the O-Reilly auto parts store near 106th and Blue Ridge around 10 Saturday morning.
Store surveillance video shows the clerk wrestling the suspect. A short time later the clerk pops up holding the robber's prosthetic leg.
Workers say the robber's bad luck didn't end when he lost his leg. "He also lost his pants, so he's got no leg, no pants hopping out to his car, wearing nothing but boxers wearing only one leg," said Paul Lichtenauer, Assistant Store Manager.
Police say the thief got away with about 50 dollars. Police are running the serial number on the leg to see if they can find its' owner.
