View Full Version : Cartoon Network November Schedule Update
Several new stuff coming down the pike in November:
- Transformers Cybertron and Teen Titans flip morning slots starting November 1st
- Class of 3000 premieres November 3rd, which is obvious given all the promos for it.
- Starting November 6th, Pokémon Chronicles replaces the 2nd Pokémon Advanced Battle on Miguzi.
- At the end of that week, on Friday, November 10th is a Battle Frontier marathon, starting at 3 and ending right before Fridays. The final 2 episodes of the marathon are brand new, though they'll repeat at their regular Saturday Morning time the next day.
- On Fridays that day is a new episode of Fosters, Gym Partner, Class of 3000, Squirrel Boy, and Juniper Lee.
- Later that night, at 5AM, .hack//ROOTS premieres.
- November 12th at 9AM is the premiere of the movie Bratz Babyz.
- November 13th, Codename: Kids Next Door replaced Code: LYOKO on Miguzi.
- November 13th-November 17th is a week of Naruto, airing Episodes 46-50 at 10PM.
- November 17th, on Fridays, new episodes of Fosters, Gym Partner, and Class of 3000 air, as well as the premiere of Tony Hawk in Boom-Boom Sabotage. It'll repeat the following week on Toonami.
- November 23rd is a Foster's Home marathon, starting at 7AM and ending with a CN special (I'm assuming its Foster's) is airing called Good Wilt Hunting at 7PM. It'll rerun twice the next day on Fridays, and about 10 more times through the end of the month.
- November 24th will see new episodes of Class of 3000, Squirrel Boy, and Juniper Lee on Fridays. Before then is a movie marathon featuring KND: Operation Z.E.R.O., Good Wilt Hunting, Class of 3000, Scooby-Doo: Pirates Ahoy, Teen Titans in Trouble in Tokyo, Tony Hawk in Boom-Boom Sabotage, Cats & Dogs, and Good Wilt Hunting again from 9AM-7PM.
- New Ben 10 episodes on November 25th.
- In case you missed the other dozen airings of Good Wilt Hunting, it's airing November 26th at 9AM and 11AM as a part of a movie marathon (featuring most of the movies listed in the previous marathon), as well as November 29th at 7PM.
- In the Toonami front, DBZ Movies 12 & 13 will air, as well as a Naruto vs. Neji marathon, and Tony Hawk in Boom-Boom Sabotage

Let's see I'm slightly interested in .Hack/Roots and hope it's good already seen both DBZ movies. 12 and 13 though I thought 13 was airing in December? and kinda a downer I was hoping that Yugioh GX would return with new eppys next month.

Not that I would watch ".hack//ROOTS," but what kind of deal did they string to premiere at 5 am EST on Saturday mornings from the start? Why even invest in a show the network, without no provocation, drops in a horrible slot? (And I'm sorry the 'but the previous .hack shows aired there earlier in the year' doesn't count as an excuse. Those were repeats!)
Yesterday's "Code: Lyoko" is the first I miss this season, and now I learn the entire repeat run will stop with the episode BEFORE this one, as well as omitting the final two? That's highway robbery! (Guess I know how the "Yu-Gi-Oh GX" fans feel now, with their latest batch of premieres not getting a rerun at all.)
"Codename: KND" returns to Miguzi, and "Pokémon Chronicles" gets a run too. (I know that'll upset some people.) Eh... maybe I'll try and catch the ones I missed the first time around (for both shows) and occasionally catch the few that I do actually want to see more than once.
Speaking of "Pokémon," I'm guessing they'll give us the first half 26 episodes and stop, and then pick up the other 26 probably in the spring, giving enough leeway for them to be repeated once on the Saturday morning strip. I guess pairing the two power hitters on that line-up with premieres is only temporary...
"Class of 3000" is scheduled against "Avatar: The Last Airbender." Unless it gets repeated in a better timeslot, I may skip it until "Avatar" completes its season in a month or so.
I don't mind the existance of "Bratz," but those lolicon-ish "Bratz Babyz" get their own movie? Couldn't they at least chucked it onto 4KidsTV instead (the first 'Bratz' movie was CN-exclusive too)?
I still don't know if I'll watch the "Tony Hawk" movie... skateboarding ain't my thing.
So the "Good Wilt Hunting" feature for "Foster's" actually premieres on Thanksgiving night? That's a bold move. But, at least they covered their bases and it's gonna be mondo-repeated the whole weekend.
Speaking of movies for CN originals... I guess the one for "Gym Partner" that was originally scheduled for November is delayed. Not that I mind...
New "Juniper Lee" and "Ben 10" gets a friendly finishing mention...

.hack//roots
yet again another silly go round for the .hack crew...I've seen it but I'm really intrigued by the dub of this. Despite the music being inappropriately played (listening to both OSTs and singles) during the series and recycling most of the initial tracks from the first OST, it still is much better in my eyes in .hack//legend of the twilight bracelet. So if you enjoy .hack, you'll enjoy this...leaves the person on the hugest cliffhanger...
class of 3000
I've only heard good things about this. And I am interested with what I've heard. Let's make this a good series!

5am airing...
wow that's early but I work on saturdays and I will definately watch it, but it is really strange that it airs so early, especially for a premiere. This is much akin to of course, zoids cc initial airing at 6 am unfortunately. For .hack//roots to get a front cover on newtype a few months ago, I'm actually dismayed at the time slot but meh

I really hope .hack/roots gets a jetstream spot since its playing at the deadest spot of the night (at least in central time) It fits the block more then say, pokemon chronicles...

Well, it's more than 26, as Episodes 26 & 27 of the season are the Deoxys Crisis episodes.
I'm starting to wonder if PUSA is collaborating with CN to rush Battle Frontier out the door so they can air Diamond & Pearl relatively close to the games.
EDIT: Almost forgot, Pokémon Battle Frontier is getting a weekday strip starting the 27th, while Courage the Cowardly Dog stays on the network at 8:30PM.

Well that really bites. I was wondering how CL managed to miss CN's latest "let's kill animation" campaign.:p It's now gotten to the point, if you like a show, you'd better tape it the first time if you ever want to see it more than once. Thankfully, it can't go too far with a forth season already in the works. So there is hope for after the current pokemon orgy. Unless CN renames itself to the Squirrelboy Network.

I can't see how this can be more than another "diverse kids say lots of cool stuff" shows. But I will give it a try. If everyother sentence has "snap" in it like Chaotic I be outa there fast. :p

- Later that night, at 5AM, .hack//ROOTS premieres.
what? thats a lame time to put it on! if its not going to be Toonami it should at least be put on next to DBZ
- November 13th, Codename: Kids Next Door replaced Code: LYOKO on Miguzi.
WHAT? only two episodes left but I am so keeping my vcr ready since I've almost missed a couple and now who knows when these will be rerun :crying:
- In the Toonami front, DBZ Movies 12 & 13 will air
neat :)
but before then, Aqua Teens replaces Robot Chicken on weekdays
ohhh wow I can't keep up with all the schedule changes  but ATHF at 12 (right?) sounds good much better then live action
It'll be nice to have DBZ movies 12 and 13 on Toonami. We haven't had a new DBZ movie since Lord Slug. I wonder if we'll be getting movies 7-11 eventually...

.Hack//ROOTS surprises me, but I'll be watching it. I do wish they'd move Dragon Hunters next to dragon Ball Z. Sure, it may be in a death slot, but at least then they could air the rest of the series for the fans that were watching.
I haven't bought or watched Wrath of the Dragon yet, but I'm surprised they got the last two DBZ movies before the Broly movies.
I'm glad I was wrong about Eleen's Acres startting (as I completly forgot about Class of 3000).

Courage stays in prime time? That's the best news of all.
Oh... so Tony Hawk premieres on Fridays and just gets rerun on Toonami. Why even bother with a Toonami airing then? It's not "actiony" from what I've seen (the freak'n promo runs all the time on FUNimation's syndicated block). It's just dumping Pokemon and FF for a night though so I guess I don't care.

Which I find hilarious, because this November is exactly one year since the whole "live action movie" thing started, and many considered CN dead.

I wouldn't be surprised about the late night timeslot of .hack//ROOTS. They're just airing it for the .hack otaku who watched .hack//Legend there before.

Because Cartoon Network is set on making sure ANYONE who watches the network before 10PM will see this movie. They're running it a half-dozen times throughout the month after all, which is slightly less than they showing the new Fosters special.

wow.. I haven't seen it in forever! do you think that Cartoon Network is trying to push across getting it's classic programming back from Boomerang because the "new age" CN isn't working? :)

Actually, The Jetsons Movie has aired at least twice on CN in the past six months, so it's not that surprising that it'd air again.

I'd say more than that. It's got 2 airings in October and another 2 in November. Kinda weird that the Jetsons movie gets a helluva lot more playing time than the Powerpuff Girls movie (which is better than the Jetsons movie).

Since it hasn't been mentioned here (though it has been mentioned in the Toonami forum), apparently CN will be debuting Yu-Gi-Oh! GX episodes starting tonight at 7:30 PM on Toonami. This is according to the CN website, but the change of Team Galaxy and Squirrel Boy that they showed at the CN website ended up being correct, so I don't see why this one won't be as well.

Heh. I was half asleep when I read that message, and somehow it got jumbled up so that it said that Squirrel Boy and Team Galaxy were joining Toonami. I have to say, despite all my complaining about Yugioh GX airing, those would've been infinitely worse.

Huh. Jetsons the Movie? I haven't seen that one since middle school! It'll be fun if only for the nostalgia.
Question on those new Ben 10 eps... Are the new ones going to air in the Saturday Morning slot, or will they show in the evening? It'd be a bummer if they aired in the saturday morning slot, as my work schedule has been recently changed. :(

They premiere on Saturday Mornings, but they'll likely be rerun to death in the evening next year.

Just for one week only in order to show the Neji vs. Hinata / Gaara vs. Lee matches. Ben 10 takes back the 10 PM slot again on the 20th.
A bit of an update:
- Robotboy replaces Teen Titans on Miguzi, with Code Lyoko staying on the block.
- November 20th has a full hour of brand new Billy & Mandy.
- November 22nd has the Cartoon Network premiere of Men in Black as the end of a Xiaolin Showdown marathon.
- If you've visited the AS Forums lately, then you know Voltron is airing at 5:30AM starting tonight.
- Robotboy bumps Codename: Kids Next Door out of the 7:30AM slot.

Because I forgot to delete that day. Miguzi on that day is taken up by an afternoon Xiaolin Showdown marathon leading up to Men in Black the Movie.
