how do you change your on name on the board?

Emailing one of the administrators or Mods on the board will usually do though you may have to wait. We're running into some complications with all this name changing. We'll keep y'all posted.

Renaming people is screwing up posting orders and just messing up posts all around. That's how. You'll havwe to wait until we get this ironed out before we can allow more name changes.

Yeah, I should've gone with this handle in the first place. I don't know why I used my e-mail name, I guess I wasn't thinking at the time... but I do appreciate the help, Jim, this one's a little more fitting for me...

For you guys that are changing your name, I hope you make it easy for us to remember that you've changed. I know DG, uh I mean Jim, is keeping his avatar for the foreseeable future, plus he was slowly breaking it in before. Most everyone here already knew his name was James Harvey.

But for instance, I just realized that Bird_Boy used to be Capt Tarpals. That's a pretty good idea you have also Trent as far as having it under your avatar. My only suggestion would be to leave there for a long time.

Who else is changing there name?

And Bird_Boy, if you do change your name again, could I suggest simply dropping the _.

Yeah, I figured that would be the best thing to do as far as letting people know who I am. Seeing as I got a new handle and avatar pretty close together I could see there might be a problem there. I might change that little reminder to my signature soon, tho, so there's your heads up on that one...

I was able to change it because we didn't realize the problems we had until after I changed my and and changed three or four peoples names. Once we realized what was happening, we had to stop immediatly. I changed my name on Sunday, and then afterwards when we changed a couple others, we began to realize the problems that were arising because of this (some posts would dissapear or be moved, stat problems, admin difficulites) so we have to put a temporary halt on this.

You will be able to change your name eventually, but just not right now. We have some problems to iron out, first.
