The new Justice League Heroes game is out today! Comments?
6.5 the reviewer sounded like he didnt know anything about the comic or animated series.
"Maybe the drama would have been more believable if the villains weren't downright dumb. A talking gorilla, an intelligent robot, and a killer bee? That's all you got, DC? Where are all the Batman villains? The Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman -- now those are villains worth fighting. Not some dude who calls himself "The Key."

It looked pretty bad. I hate the designs, and it just doesn't look as fun as Marvel UA.

That does sound like a pretty stupid review. How would Two-Face and Catwoman be a threat to the Justice League? Most of the characters could just kill them with a single hit. But, when I click on the link I get an error.

I bought the game and so far I'm having a real fun time with it, and it's been the only game that I've been playing. I think it's just as good as XML and MUA with a better story. The only exception for the character selection and how useless playing as some of the hidden characters are. But overall I'd give it a 4/5

Catwoman was always more in the gray area than straight up villian. Nowadays she's pretty much a hero. Also, he dissed Huntress. Tsk tsk. I'll probably pick up this game sometime down the road.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance isn't out yet. How do you know the Justice League: Heroes story is better?

Marvel Ultimate Alliance isn't out yet. How do you know the Justice League: Heroes story is better? I don't for sure. But the storylines in XML 1 and 2 weren't exactly anything to write home about, and the story in MUA looks more like a way to cram as many Marvel locations and characters as humanly possible. JLH is structured more like an extended episode of the TV show and even features a really cool twist and surprise at the end.

I got a Target giftcard from my aunt as a very late graduation present so I'll be picking this up tomorrow. And then I'm getting MUA on Wednesday. It's gonna be a superhero week for me!

With a group of superpowered henchmen as backup, yes. But really how would Joker provided a realstic and challenaging boss fight to GL or Superman?

The more characters the better, gammers want more playable characters, more bosses, more side quests. I thought JLH was too short, it could have used some more bosses and maybe add some side quests.
I just rented this. And I've owned MUA for a month now.
It's staying on my xmas list, but is still inferior to Marvel's offering.
The combat and powers lack "oomph" and the transition from punching to using powers to blocking is interrupted by noticeable pauses. MUA combat is just more controllable and feels more satisfying.
This game does look remarkable for an X-Box game, in comparison to the competition. I think that the models just move too slow in the game's engine.
The capes look nice though. Hopefully they make a next gen sequel and make me actually feel like I'm a superhero when I pick up the controller.

I have been looking for some feedback comparing Justice League Heroes and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I own MUA and its a great game I really like it and have been trying to find out if DC' JLH is as good because if so I will probably buy it since im a way bigger fan of that Universe than marvels.

Who has this game, and what do they think about it? Everyone says marvel ultimate alliance is way better and I have MUA and love it, but I hear that JLH has a much better story if nothing else. They say the game is less refined and the AI isn't all that great, but it is still enjoyable. I'm pretty easy to appease and love these kinds of games, so I think I might like it. Also, I've heard mixed reactions about how you can only have two characters at a time. Some people say it was a con because games like MUA and XML have 4 at a time and that that makes it feel more significant like you really have the whole JL team, while others say they thought it made more sense to have less characters at once and that it gave you a better sense of what the hero was really like and fit the JL heroes style.
also, what would you like to see in terms of new characters, plots, villians, costumes, gameplay, etc.
because i've already written a lot here, i hope you guys don't mind if I double-post, just so I can have a fresh post to list off my suggestions.
Keep in mind I have not played the game yet, so please no spoilers.

character additions suggestions- I admit I don't know that much about the DC universe compared to marvel, so if I miss any big ones please let me know (i only have like 3 more so I'm sure I am).
1. Atom: I know it would be hard to find a way to properly implement him, but even if he isn't playable he should be in the game (though I'm sure they could find a way to make him work).
2. Captain Marvel: He is a classic first of all, but second of all he is an interesting character in terms of powers, and despite popular belief really isn't too much like superman in terms of powers.
3. Nightwing: Even though he was originaly just Batman's Robin, he branched off to become his own hero, and people like him, so why not add him?
Alternate Costumes- Like I said, my knowledge of the DC universe isn't that great, but I'll try here.
Superman-
1. Red Son: This was a "what-if" type series where Superman grew up in Ukraine and was part of the soviet union. It is basically the same but the suit is grey and the symbol is kinda different looking.
2. Electric Blue: This costume just looks really, really cool. It was when Superman splits into two "supermen" that are all glowy and electric-like.
3. Electric Red: The other half
4. Justice Lord/Superman Beyond: There was a superman in the cartoon batman beyond that supposedly looked like the justice lord version of superman, an alternate reality superman from the justice league cartoon who wore a black suit with white trim and stuff. The JL one had a cape.
Batman-
1. Azrael Suit: When Azrael temporarily took up the batman persona, he created a more heavily equipped and armored suit.
Super Girl-
1. Power Girl: Power Girl derives from Super Girl, so it would be cool to have her as an alternate costume to Super Girl.
