Just found this at www.canoe.ca:

'Buffy', 'Angel' crossover possible next year
By JAM! TV

A crossover show between "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" may still be in the works, even though the two shows air on different networks.

The New York Daily News says the fact that "Buffy" airs on UPN and "Angel" belongs to The WB isn't dissuading series creator Joss Whedon from attempting to convince the networks to bury the hatchet and work out a plot that will criss-cross the networks to both shows.

"It's not something we're pursuing this year, but it's something we might get into next year if things have cooled down between the two networks," Whedon told The Daily News.

"Buffy" first aired in 1997, with "Angel" spinning off two years later, and both initially aired on The WB. "Buffy" jumped to UPN this season after a dispute between Whedon and the network.

"UPN really came out swinging," Whedon told The Daily News. "They really promised and delivered a great deal of support. They put passion in it. Our fan base is not huge, but it is hugely loyal. I knew they would follow us".

Eh, I'm glad they have no crossovers this year and I hope they have none next year. Buffy just brings down Angel's quality.

Although the "might have" crossovers are kinda funny. "I'm going to see Angel. Not in Sunnydale. Not in LA. Somewhere in between." Then, "How was it with Angel?" "It was....intense. (Viewers, use your own imaginations here)."

lol. Those are pretty cool, even though a lot of people seem to hate how that's done. I definitely prefer the little nods over the big x-over eps.

Next week Buffy gets a job at a fast food joint and discovers wierd things in the meat. Isn't that the life story of an average teen ager?

And has anybody seen the commercials for next weeks' Roswell? It's made to look like a 60s sitcom. Looks quite interesting.

Isn't it paranormal if you DON'T find strange things in fast food meat?
