When will we get the second half of Buu?

Anyone here know. Those reruns are getting old. Though the Goku/Vegeta fight is still fun to watch.

This has been asked too many times, so stop asking.

It's September, and it won't change. It takes time to make these episodes. They're now making dubs for Yu Yu Hakusho, Blue Gender, Dragon Ball, and DBZ. You have to expect it'll take time. They ended when they did because they felt it was a good stopping point. Isn't it better than having Goku arrive and begin kicking the Ginyu's asses, then it ends?

I agree, it was a good stopping point, but it'd be nice to see the whole thing at once (like the Cell Saga).

And it would be impossible to have the whole thing ready at once. They were barely finished with what was aired on CN.

I haven't seen it asked on this board before, and until you become a moderator you can't tell me what I can or can't do on this board. :p

Thanks for standing up for me. I don't really know exactly what was said, 'cause it was edited before I saw. Probably best that I didn't anyway.

I kinda wish they'd show those early episodes again. Seems like they'd have plenty of time to run through them. They've been playing the Cell and Buu sagas for at least a year.

For some reason I was thinking that we'd get new episodes in February. Too bad that's not the case. I guess the longer people have to wait, the more chance of them buying the tapes from Funimation.

After this, there shouldn't be anymore stopping points. Next time they show new episodes (September) it will be to the end of DBZ. In the mean time, they should air the Saiya-Jin saga from the arrival of Raddiz, to the defeat of Vejita.

They should also redub the Saiya-Jin Saga, mainly because Saban screwed it up big time.

I've got the entire series on DVD in Cantonese. Buu is not dead obviously, and he will return, and the kids are gonna have to stop him. And they do, but then he becomes another incarnation, and is thenceforth a good guy. Then, comes, I think Bebi (baby) Saga. And Vegeta and Goku find a way to fuse into one body calling themselves Gogeta. Actually, I think Goku and Gohan do it first.

I'm writing this from memory and on the fly. I have the fansubs so excuse a minor omission or two.




Krillin arrives at Kame's with Goten and Trunks. Piccolo follows. Goku awakens from his fight with Vegeta and goes to Kame's as well. Also there are Chi Chi, etc. They believe Gohan to be dead, however, he is on the Supreme Kai's planet to receive special training in the hopes of defeating Buu using the Z sword. While training with the sword it breaks and one of that Supreme Kai's ancestors appears after having been trapped inside the sword. He tells Gohan that he can power him up to SSJ2 level and that he would never have to turn into a Super Saiyan again. The process involves sitting for 36 hours.

Back at Kame's, Goten and Trunks cry after hearing about Vegeta and Gohan. They get mad at Goku and call him weak for not helping Vegeta and Gohan. Piccolo gets pissed at the insinuation that Son Goku is weak. Goku understands and wants to teach the boys the fusion technique, as they are the only ones left who are strong enough to defeat Buu. Goku has very little time left and tells Picclol that he'll be responsible for training the boys after he leaves. First Goku tells Trunks to go to Capsule Corp. and get the Dragon radar so that they can get the Dragonballs. Buu wants to kill the two kids and Piccolo and goes on a killing spree to lure them out into the open. Goku distracts (fights) Buu while Trunks goes to get the radar and in the process Goku turns SSJ3, which uses up his remaining energy and thus, his day on Earth.

Goten and Trunks master the Fusion technique, and form Gotenks, after several failed attempts. In an act of extreme arrogance they ignore Piccolo's orders and go to find Buu only to get the living crap kicked out of them. The public asks Mr. Satan to defeat Buu, Mr Satan agrees and hatches a plan to make it look as though he defeats Buu. Buu and Mr. Satan become friends, as Buu's good side begins to come out. An elderly couple is crossing a field on foot for shelter from Buu's terror when two game hunters shoot them dead. These same hunters shot a puppy, Buu then heals the puppy and Mr. Satan brutally beats the gunman. Suddenly, Buu divides into two beings. The good fat Buu and an evil more sadistic looking Buu. Fat Buu tells Mr. Satan to run while the two Buus fight. Fat Buu is defeated and absorbed into the evil Buu and the evil Buu heads to Kame's.

When he arrives Piccolo begs for a few more hours for the boys to train in the Room of Time and Spirit (hyperbolic chamber). Chi Chi slaps Buu and is killed by him. Goten enters the room intent of getting revenge. Buu grows impatient and goes into the room to kill Gotten, Trunks, and Piccolo. Everyone becomes trapped until Buu escapes and Gotenks and Piccolo escape as well. Buu and Gotenks fight and Gotenks goes SSJ3!!!

Later Gohan returns to earth wearing a gi just like Goku's. Goku is now on the Supreme Kai's planet watching what's going on. Buus absorbs Piccolo and Gotenks and now the powered up Buus fights Gohan. Gohan is soon finding himself being beaten when Tien shows up. Also, Mr. Satan and Dende are watching the fight as well. Tien is knocked unconscious. The ancestor Kai gives his life to Goku so that Goku can return to Earth and help his eldest son. Before he leaves Goku is given the Potara. Earrings that fuse to people permanently when they each wear one and gives them great power. He arrives on Earth and Gohan is absorbed before he can put on the Potara. Lord Enma sends Vegeta back to Earth to help and Vegeta puts on the Potara and he and Goku form Vegetto. They trounce Buu.

I'm going to skip ahead. Goku and Vegta are eaten by Buu and free all that he has absorbed. Vegeta, Goku, Fat Buu, and Mr. Satan go to fight Buu on an abandoned planet. Goku fights Buu. While watching Goku fight admits his admiration, respect, and kinship with Goku. King Kai tells Goku to use a Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb). Vegeta fights Buu to buy Goku some time. He's trounced. Then Fat Buu joins in. Vegeta asks people of the Earth to raise their hands and give Goku the ki (spirit enrgy)to defeat Buu. The don't trust Vegeta and he calls them all ungrateful fools. Mr. Satan is angered by everyone's selfishness and demands that poepl raise their hands. They all do. The Genki Dama is formed and Buu is killed. They all reunite at Kame's and announce that Goku is here to stay. When Goku killed Buu he wished the Buu would be reincarnated into a good person so that they could fight again and see who's the strongest. He admired Buu's strength.

Flash ahead ten years, I'll give you everyone's ages.
Goku - around 45
Gohan - 26
Pan (Gohan and Videls daughter) - 4
Goten - 17
Trunks - 18
Vegeta - around 50

There's another tournament. Vegeta, Goku, Goten, Trunks, and Pan enter. Goku says that someone really strong will be there. There, Goku meets and fights a ten year old black kid named Ubuu. Goku and Ubuu go at it toe to toe until Goku realizes that Ubu can't fly. Goku offers to traing Ubuu and leaves his family. This is the end of DBZ.

Dragonball GT was produced by Toei and Akira Toriyama only did character designs. That's why there are some flack about it. If you have any questions please ask.

Actually...
Goku and Gohan never fused. Gogeta appeared in Movie 11 and DBGT only and was fromed by the fusion pose. Vegetto was the result of the Potara. Gogeta is not a part of true DBZ continuity.

Reruns don't bother me much. That's why I make tapes :p . But until I get my cable back (which was supposed to be today, but the cable company messed up yet again) I've only seen two episodes of the new season so far. Although, if the last block of episodes does air in September, why did they show all they had right away? This could be as bad as the Cell saga when people complained to high heaven about the endless reruns. Taking the show off the regular run for a week (for the Batman/Superman marathon) is a good idea.

Thanks for the rundown. I do have a few questions.

If Vegetto beats Buu, how does he absorb them?

If the fusion is permanent how do they become unfused?

What does SSJ3 Goku look like? How about Gotenks, and Gotenks SSJ3?

Does the method of powering up to SSJ2 permanently work for Gohan? Is he still the most powerful fighter in the universe? With the exception of Buu?

Uh, I can't really remember that.

The stuff inside Buu destorys the fusion, and they unfuse.

SSJ3 is just them with longer hair and their eyebrows dissappear. As for Gotenks, he looks like a smaller Vejita, but with some purple hair.

Uh, the power up has nothing to do with SSJ2, it just lets him use ALL of his hidden power. As for the most powerful in the universe, after the Cell games he just stopped training, making him VERY weak. SSJ3 Goku at max power is stronger, but if Goku tried to use his full power, it would kill him and blow up the planet.
