The great <a href="http://www.superherohype.com">Superhero Hype</a> has received storyline information on the upcoming Birds of Prey series. Below is an excerpt:

It centers around Gotham city after Joker and Batman have a huge fight knocking them out of the picture for 5 yrs. The show centers around Oracle, Huntress and Black Canary...
STORYLINE: Once upon a time, in a city known as Gotham, a holy war raged between a criminal and a crimefighter, whose all-consuming hatred for each other brought the city to it’s knees: Joker and Batman. That was seven years ago. Joker is imprisoned in Arkham Asylum; Batman has vanished into a bitter, self-imposed exile. But every war has it's aftermath. A new wave of criminals and crimefighters have arisen from the ashes of the old. This is the next generation of Gotham, new heroes, new villains - and at the forefront is the crimefighting trio of Oracle, Huntress and Black Canary. No costumes, no masks, no fishnets or stilettos (at least not while they're working.) These girls fight crime with body armor, cutting edge weapons, metahuman powers and sensible footwear.
