I don't know if this is the right forum but since it's shown on CN I thought it might be.
I keep hearing that XS is cancelled but I'm not quite believing it because I haven't seen anything official. Can anyone please tell me if you know anything and are not just assuming things? The reason I don't think it is is because the last episode that was aired didn't seem like a last episode.
Another thing, please don't post things bashing the show because I really don't wanna hear it, I just need some help! Thanks:anime:

It is played on Cn sometime in the afternoon/evening time on weekdays as well as showings on the Weekends. I am not sure if they have new episodes or not since I am not a big fan.

Evidentally there is a new season. We just don't don't know when or if it will air.

Most of vanidad's posts are like that. She lives in South America, and her English can get a bit confusing.

From what I've been reading.
There was evidentally an advert (I didn't actually see it) for a season premiere a couple weeks ago, but they aired a different episode instead.

I saw that. There were commericals on CN saying there were new episodes all week at 6 but I never saw them. And they showed the commercials quite frequently.

Those aren't technical "new" episodes though. They're talking about episodes NEW to Cartoon Network, not world premire never been seen on TV episodes as they already aired on Kids WB. And yeah these "New" episodes are part of a "new" season. The third season Of XS, the only one who hasn't aired all of it's episodes on CN as of yet...
However after that then the show's pretty much done. They ended it after 52 eps and 3 seasons on Kids WB since 52 is pretty much the magic number for kids WB for an original and unless you do really really well or are licensed by another studio (like with Jackie Chan Adventures being licensed by Sony or anime shows like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon which were far from originals anyway) KidsWB pretty much lets you go. The only reason the show airs on Kids WB now is due to it's "popularity" and them not having a new show to replace it yet. That will change next year though. There is a chance of CN picking up XS (since it seems to be doing really well in the ratings and all) but that's doubtful. Cn's more likley to focus on it's own originals then making more eps of a Kids WB series. So I would say it's cancelled 99.95% for good. 100% officaly as of this moment.

 Might be a time difference. Here they moved Ben10 to 6:00 and Xiaolin Showdown to 6:30. They had been doing reruns after they made the switch,,, at least I think so. It is in conflict with Avatar TLAB for me so Nicks been winng my viewing time. Their one and only show that can do that.
I think they're still at least a season behind KidsWB, so I doubt it will be cancelled yet. I hope not, it is a favorite and I'm loosing so many lately. :crying:

Glad to see another fan!:D
XS has 52 episodes though...but they totally left us hanging with the last episode. They can't just stop. That's not right!!

I meant that Kids WB had an advert for a new episode, different from CN's ads.

Sorry folks, but the show is over. It hit 52, and there aren't any new episodes coming. Kids' WB never aired an ad for new epiodes, the ad just said something about serving up some "butt-kicking" this season. Not once were new episodes mentioned. Too bad too, since I began to really follow it during it's final season.

*shuffles stuff around in his desk* Ah, here it is. I have to remember to bookmark it on my computer, 'cause I think this is the third time this has been brought up.

That's word from Eric Radomski, who was the supervising producer on "Xiaolin Showdown" and now has the same role on "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!" Via an interview Newsarama did with him two months ago.
But the basic main points, for the purposes of this thread...
"I was wrapping up XS," he recalls, "wondering if we'd be asked to do more episodes when the studio got word from above, Time Warner that is. The entire company was asked to make major budget cuts and all of us here at WB Animation were affected. A couple new shows were cancelled and being that XS had fulfilled the magic number of 52 episodes no more were needed. So in order to continue paying my bills, I snooped around the studio to find out what might be happening next. A fresh version of Scooby was being considered for the newly formed CW network. WB needed a producer, I was available.

"As far as Kids WB is concerned, no new episodes have been made, no new episodes have been ordered," says Radomski. "The existing series was picked up by Cartoon Network and has blossomed into a solid performer for them. It's certainly possible for new episodes to be made. If the season one DVD sells well an original long form video is always a possibility. Hopefully our fans will plunk down some dollars to help the cause."

There will be no fourth season.
All that's left is the PS2 video game that still hasn't been released.

Really? Ah well, I must've misread or something. Anyway, from what I've heard, season 3 ended like a seires finale, so I guess all is well.

It did, according to the small interview that was posted on page 1.
They're open to extending it further, but it's not a priority.

All the Shen Gong Wu are in the possesion of the Wudai Warriors (except one, but that fell into a pit of lava back in season 2), the leader has been chosen, and they were rushing off to, what looked to be, a hint that "the battle against good and evil will never end".
Seems like everything wrapped up pretty nicely.

Or you could say...
-There are less than 100 Shen Gong Wu activated while it was said near the beginning there were hundreds
-Raimundo's a horrible leader plus they never made it to Xiaolin Dragon like they were supposed to, and...
-That's a total copout ending.
Its not wrapped up nicely, its just satisfactory enough for shows these days because all they're really looking for is 52 eps. First TT's crap ending, now this. If this keeps up I'm going to give up on non-anime cartoons unless they're REALLY interesting....
There's a link on page one that says the show might get picked up on CN if the S1 DVD sales are good enough. I certainly hope so. One more season just might be enough to give us an ending that isn't totally "teh suck".

It ended pretty well. The last episode wrapped up character issues and the villains were defeated... *shrug* How much longer could the series go on really?
