WWF fans?

Anybody else a WWF fan? I was wondering if anybody saw the Royal Rumble, and what they thought of it and the follow up on Raw. The Rumble event itself was great, and the Flair-McMahon match was good, but the rest of the ppv was kind of forgettable. Raw was pretty good on the whole. The HHH/Rock team up was great and I'm very interested to see what McMahon's got planned after his cryptic words to Flair.

Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing any other thoughts. I used to watch wrestling religiously, then got bored about a year ago and watched very, very little. Now I'm starting to get my interest back.

BECAUSE OF THOSE 3, RATINGS FELL, PEOPLE WERE FIRED AND COMPANIES WERE EVENTUALLY SOLD!!!! WHY WOULD THE WWF WANT TO RECREATE THAT?????

lol....

yeah i watched the rumble...maven eliminates the undertaker??? what kinda crap is that?? :confused: but other than that the whole ppv was done pretty well. hhh winning was pretty predictible...all my predictions were right so no real big surprises for me. the coolest thing is that now golddust and mr.perfect are back full time now. :D and as far as vince's warning to flair, you can pretty much count on that being him unleashing the nwo on the wwf..it's either that or the big wwf split up they keep talking about.

I'm really tired of "regular" sports guys bashing pro wrestling and it's fans. Is it fake? Yes. Can it be silly at times? Yes. They insult us wrestling fans. However, look at the 500lb. guys who go to football games shirtless in 10 degree weather, then get drunk, slap on a cheese wedge and make complete fools of themselves. These "jounalists" need to get a clue. They report on sports. Grown men getting paid millions to play games. I'm not a huge sports fan. I love boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts. ESPN, Jim Rome, and the like need to keep what they do in perspective. Both them and those million dollar athletes may have to get real jobs one day.

And as to wrestling attracting only male audiences...no. Look at the crowds, there are quite a number of female fans in most WWF shows...and they're better looking than the ones at baseball or football games, in my honest opinion. ;)

Because the WWF is NOT WCW. They way I see it, if they're bringing back Nash and Hall, they MUST bring back HBK. They have to. And that would be simply incredible. You can't go wrong with that.

It should be good. Either nWo or a Kliq reunion. Ultimately, I just want to see Shawn back. He was simply the best. He was the Main Event, the Icon, the greatest WWF champion ever. Even a DX reunion would rock with HHH and HBK dominating again.

There are rumors that HBK may be making a comeback. Let's hope so.

Great question and great choices. My favorites:

1.) D-Generation X (original version) Everytime I hear this, I see HBK and HHH, the championship belts, the crotch chops, the arrogance, the attitude, the dominace over the WWF. Great theme for the greatest group in wrestling history.

2.) Triple H (current theme) HHH's entrance has to be the greatest I've ever seen. I don't know if any individual wrestler has ever created such impression of power like HHH does everytime he comes out. His current theme has more of an edge than his previous one, which suits him better. I especially love the middle portion of the song, which plays when HHH is standing in front of the ropes, his arms thrown out, his facial expression saying, essentially, "I'm that damn good."

3.) Corporate Ministry When talking groups, I'd probably have to say this one was more powerful than DX, especially considering it contained the Lord of Darkness (Undertaker), Shane, Triple H, and the Greater Power (Vince). I loved the storyline and their entrance music was the perfect combination of Undertaker's theme and the Corporation theme.

4.) Steph (current) I haven't watched a whole lot recently, but I'm assuming Steph's still using Hunter's old theme. It's great, just slightly below the Game's current one.

5.) Steph (Bodies-Drowning Pool) I might be mistaken, but I remember for a short time Steph coming out to Bodies by Drowning Pool. It's a great song and perfectly suited for wrestling.

6.) Paul Heyman/Steph/ECW The ECW theme rocked. It was especially impressive seeing the ECW faction proceeding to the ring as the music played.

Other's I've liked: Tazz's original music, Taker's old music, Jericho's, Stone Cold's (Disturbed version)

Actually, that used to be ECW's old theme back when ECW started out. You cawn also hear it in ECW Harcore Revolution.
