That was actually really, really cool. I'm genuinly impressed and I thought Lois and Clark was lame!

I've seen this before. It's pretty well done. And its kind of like the plot summaries I've read for the real movie that WB was gonna make.

Sorry to say, that was more entertaining than BATMAN BEGINS. Was glad they used the Michael Keaton BATMAN, too. Not bad.

wicked splicing of Lois & Clark clips and the Keaton films (Batman and non-Batman). It's amazing what a little video editing can do.

though i do question throwing Robin into the fray...:p

Not seamless of course, but I thought it was pretty good. Nicely put together.

That would have been awesome. Dean Cain was definitely a good Superman and Michael was a badass Batman.

Man, that was a blast! It makes me excited for a Batman-Superman movie! Bring it on, I say! I wouldn't even complain if you used those two actors in the title roles!

Pretty cool. Yeah, so many fan trailers on YouTube, good bad and ugly. I have a couple awesome JLA trailers saved to my favorites.

Nicely made, if horribly cast. I liked the clever use of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" dialogue. The 'Lois and Clark' scenes look really dated and cheap, though.

The Batman vs. Superman script written by Kevin (Se7en) Walker and then shelved a few years back was a lot darker, though, and set in the future a bit (Superman and Batman are very familiar with each other). Though the Joker and Luthor are the main villains, there's no Arkham release of Bat-rogues and Lois and Clark are divorcing.

That's odd, I thought it looked great with the clips and having Robin in there too (granted, seemingly for no mentioned reason). Although I rolled my eyes whenever a clip was used that was too obvious to not know where it was from.

And I thought the clash of the original 1989 Batman clips were more old and dated looking than the Lois & Clark ones. Anyway, I've never seen that one before but it was great. The one I like better, though, is the super Indy one by
user zwesley24, at 3:39 minutes long. It's completely Indy and it pays some yummy homage to the Superman three part episode "The World's Finest." You also get that feel from the fact that it talks about Superman first.

lol, Robin.

-"I figured you could use a hand."
-"With what, beating up Superman? You DO know he's a little bit stronger than that, right?"

a little Dr Bartholomew from BTAS "Dreams in Darkness", nice nod to the animated series

Then their is always this one.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIWskgVx_v0 Some people rip on it. But, for a low budget its not that bad.

Nicely made, if horribly cast.

I liked the cast with the exception of John Shea, my least favorite Luthor ever.

That was fun, and it used the Gotham City and the Batman mentions on Lois and Clark.

Mid-Nite, that's always a good one.

WOW!

Can you say "DisneyBoy's ultimate Batman/Superman movie"?!?!?

LOVED Lois and Clark and the Burton Batman, and will always see them as the real live action versions of the heroes in my mind. SO COOL to see this all spliced together. Although I really could have done without the Schumacker Freeze being in there. Bad taste in my mouth. But seeing Keaton talk to O'Donnell? PRICELESS. And I LOVED the use of past Keaton films in there. It really made it work!!!

THANK YOU for linking us to this.

EDIT: There are an astounding number of Lois and Clark blooper reels at youtube. Too bad WB wouldn't include them on any of the DVD sets.

Um ... is it just me, or did anyone else think that the "versus" part was pretty much MIA? Unless I just missed it, there really is no depiction here of any element of conflict between Bats and Supes.

The knee-jerk reaction is to call anything that these two heroes appear together in "Batman vs. Superman." Perhaps this filmmaker could've given a little more thought to a title that would better reflect the actual tone and content of this "trailer."

Ummm...after only seeing that trailer once, I understood the plot to involve Superman seeing Bruce get locked up, and Brucie trying to fight his way to freedom, even going so far as to get kryptonite for a bomb.

Again, only saw it once, but that's what I understood. Less of a WWF plot to be sure, and more of a "you're a danger to everyone Batsy, so don't make me get you locked up".

I really can't get over how well it was all integrated. Lois and Clark's reaction to Bruce becoming the new owner of the paper. John Shea was such an awesome Luthor.

Maybe you're right, DB. The first time I watched it, I didn't get the impression that Bruce was the one buying the kryptonite; guess I assumed maybe it was the Luthor/Joker team making the buy. (In fact, wasn't there a peal of Joker laughter right after that?) Watching it again, though, I can see your take on that scene.

But as for Bruce trying to fight his way to freedom ... Superman actually busts him out of jail, right? Seems like at that point they're on the same team.

But I do realize that, using available footage, it's tough to create the appearance of conflict between the two, given the fact that you can't have Batman and Superman actually in frame together.
