I'm curious, it looks like it could be good. It's hosted by Bob Saget and it's on NBC tonight at 9 p.m. ET.

http://www.nbc.com/1vs100/images/bob-saget.jpgHosted by popular comedian Bob Saget ("America's Funniest Home Videos," "Full House"), "1 vs 100" is NBC's new international hit game show from the producers of "Deal or No Deal," where one contestant faces "the mob" of 100 others in a tense battle of brains and guts for a chance to win up to $1 million.

To stay in the game, the player must answer trivia questions and get every one right -- wrong answers from the mob eliminates them from the game, driving up the cash prize for the player. If the player can eliminate all 100 members of the mob, which will also be stacked with surprise opponents, such as geniuses, valedictorians, grandmothers and other game show champs, he will go home with the $1 million top prize. However, if the player gets one answer wrong, the game is over and "the mob" will split the player's winnings up to that point and a new contestant gets to take on "the mob."

"1 vs 100" is an international hit in Sweden, Belgium, Holland (where it originated), Germany, Argentina and Portugal and was recently sold to BBC in the United Kingdom to air in primetime.

The series is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. The series is executive-produced by Scott St. John.

Well, it's on at the same time as Battlestar Gallactica, so I'll record 1 vs 100.

Mr. Saget always does well on Opie & Anthony so I'll check it out to support him. It could go either way though.

I'm a big fan of trivia so I liked it, but it didn't wow me. Somehow I find Deal or No Deal more interesting. It felt kind of like Dick Clark's "Winning Lines" during the "Millionare" craze. It was fine, but it wasn't as compelling as the big hit at the time.

I may watch it some more, but this would be great "I'm bored" viewing and with wrestling on, I'd have to tape it every week. Not sure if it's "tape worthy."

I noticed that Bob Saget =/= Howie Mandel in everything.
Hell, even a panel of Deal or No Deal girls were there.

Hell, even a panel of Deal or No Deal girls were there. That reminded me, I forgot to mention I do think there are a lot of potential for neat guests on the panel of 100. They had some assorted career paths (and Ken Jennings!) on this episode, but during sweeps they could have the cast of all the Law & Orders or something (playing for charity if they win). I want to see Ben Stein up there.
