That's not Hades...that's Lord Satanis, isn't it?

That's Lord Hades... Faust said so himself.

He could be lying to Faust--why would Hades be imprisoned like that?

They might have just changed the name due to censorship problems. They did rename the DBZ character Mr. Satan as Hercule for CN. I know, it sounds kind of dumb, but so is CN. And Satanus alludes to Satan, which CN is probably afraid could be taken to mean that Satanus is Satan. Hades isn't much better, of course, but CN doesn't always make sense.

Maybe Zeus had something to do with Hades not being allowed to leave the immortal plane of existence?
I guess we'll have to see next week.

My original thought was this is Ares, God of War, who in the comics caused Wonder Woman to come to Man's World in 1987.
Just a note on the styling. This is the Animated DC, not comic DC. If the designers decide to change a look, that is their perogative. It could be this is just how they decided to portray Hades.

Okay, maybe it is Hades and they wanted to use an update of the other guy's design. But it seems a little fishy to me.

In the Artemis: Requiem miniseries. Hades looked like this (horned head), so it's probably Bruce Timm's take on the god of the underworld.
