www.comingsoon.net reports:
Roger Friedman at FOXNews.com got the chance to talk with Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw and Harrison Ford at the Golden Globe Awards last night. Capshaw, who's Mrs. Spielberg, co-starred with Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom".
Friedman asked the trio whether we'll ever see "Indiana Jones 4". "Yes," they all said, and confirmed that once Spielberg films "Catch Me If You Can" with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, "Indiana Jones 4" will be his priority!
"We have a title, but we're not ready to announce it," Spielberg said. "I will give you one clue, though. Kate is in it." Friedman asked if he meant that Capshaw's character would appear via flashbacks, and he replied: "No. She'll be in the present."
Ford said he's ready to take on this last chapter. "It was always about getting the right script, and now we have it," he said.
At the same time, however, Spielberg also said that he has abandoned plans to adapt Arthur Golden's novel, "Memoirs of a Geisha." "I'm not going to do it," he confirmed. "It's over."

If they wanted to keep the timeline believeable, old Indy is gonna have to be fighting Communists instead of Nazis in this one. Or maybe America's involvement in Vietnam.
Heh.

Did I mention that the Cyber-nazi-snakes are all cops who are holding his daughter hostage, trying to get him to resign the presidency so that the evil grand poo-bah will aquire the presidency and use it to manufacture fireworks that are meant to be attached to small animals?

The one I produced/directed inside my head. It didn't do very well at the box office.

Yeah, but the casting party was a blast! Head parties are the best.

Damn shame, I'm sure HF was awesome in it.
It was probably as good as IJ4 will be...IJ4 will earn more, it has name recognition.
Next time, don't call your movie "Snow Dogs on the Titanic with Aladin"

It's a good thing I managed to make the entire film in one afternoon, while only costing about $5.47. I think I'll call my next film "Mutant Botanists from beyond the Moon".

I wouldn't get excited just yet... they've been promising us another Indy flick since, oh, the last one. I'd bet we wouldn't get another one till Lucas wraps up Star Wars...

Can't really say I'm excited for this. I thought Indiane Jones & The Last Crusade was a good way to finish the trilogy.

I know they have been planning this for a long, long time, and I don't think it's motivated by money, unlike some studio's sequels Disney. They've been waiting for the right script, so I trust that they know what they are doing. The only thing that casts doubt on the idea that they may know what they are doing is that they are pairing up Hanks with DiCrapio. I shudder in horror at that as much as I do at the potential for Snow Dogs 2.

I have to agree DG. I thought The Last Crusade was the best of the trilogy, and a perfect way to end it. Well, NOW...hm...>shrugs< I'm happy for 'em and all, but I'd be a bit cautious about it. Just my opinion.
