Since I didn't watch Toonami tonight, I can only hazard to guess you're talking about the intro. If the opening sequence has (in huge letters) "The Adventures of Batman & Robin", then ye s-- it is the intro. And there were two kinds:

a) a starting with a new score and a montage of clips

b) a starting with the original BTAS score and a clip montage

But it's possible that Toonami made a Toonami-esque opening for the show.

Had the big letters, a montage...I think the original score...did NOT look like a toonami intro.

(yeah, I was talking about Toonami..)

Then that was probabaly the third BTAS intro. I'm not really surprised Toonami kept this intro since they kept the original STAS intro. Today's episode was Deep freeze, right? That explains that intro. Tomorrow when they air a BTAS episode, it will have the first BTAS intro - same when they rerun the TNBA episodes.

Gee you're good...ppl might think you were a FAN! =D

I have to say I like this ep..
They bring back Hardac's creator as a robotics expert, but the ep isn't about him. It's the little things that are good.

Batman is a bit talkative in this ep though..

Me? A fan? Nahhh! :)

This was a good episode, although some fans dismissed it becuase it wasn't on par with the original Mr. freeze episode Heart of Ice. Some fans were turne doff by the sci-fi feel of the episode.

I enjoyed it, though. There are some great animated sequences in there that are downright cool! (pun intended)

ok, now what I want to know is....what about Mr. Crazy guy (I've already forgotten his name..=\ )?

He's as immortal as Freeze, so he should still be alive.....asuming he wasn't "thawed"

That would be a diffrent BB DTV

Grant Walker? He was recently thawed in Batman: Gotham Adventures #5 and was driven insane by his immortality and being trapped in an ice-cube for two years. He went on a rampage and tried to get Oceania working again, so he could wipte out Gotham. Mr. Freeze was able to help Batgirl and Nightwing put an end to his insanity. He's now in lock-up at Arkham.

Heart of Ice and Deep Freeze were awesome episodes... however, I liked Deep Freeze slightly more... why? I just couldn't get over the final scene where Freeze is just kneeling down looking at his "tanked" with love...all while the whole place is just going down... is wuz very touching.... o man...i'm a big sap...

and about the openings to B:TAS...

The first one had the original B:TAS song, showcasing Batman taking down two bank-robbers and leaving them to a dumbfounded group of cops. afterwards, you see a nice shot of Batman posing on a building and being lit up by thunder....

the second one (renamed The Adventures of Batman & Robin) had a new theme song, showing various scenes of Batman and Robin, individually doing his own thing: Batman heading to action w/ the Batmobile and grapple hook, and Robin heading to action w/ the Batcycle and his grapple hook. Then they show nice scenes of both Batman and Robin doing some adventuring (from eps "Shadow of the Bat," "The Demon's Quest"), and finally ending with Batman & Robin making a huge jump from a snowy mountain (also from "The Demon's Quest").

The third one was still "The Adventures of Batman & Robin." The basic theme of showing Batman & Robin in action wuz there (different episode clips though), but this time, the original B:TAS theme was used...

I wonder how many people got that injoke. I got it when they said his last name - "Walker". For some reason "Walt" came into mind when they said it - and it just clicked.
