Who are some animated characters who smoke? Notable ones include:
Spike Siegel (Cowboy Bebop)
Patty and Selma (The Simpsons)
Dale Gribble (King of the Hill)
Isnt Ox King from Dragonball/Z a smoker as well or am i thinking of a different character?

I would somewhat not count the cartoons that are basically for adults, as those are more or less geared toward the adult bracket anyway. There used to be quite a few G rated toons that featured smoking, but none as of late.

Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians: The Series. Two episodes were included in the episode where cigarettes were involved in the plot, though smoking was portrayed in a negative light in order to be capable of being included in the episode.

There were two rats in Tiny Toon Adventures that smoked but I'm not sure if they count. Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop also smokes.

Yubaba in 'Spirited Away' (I think she smoked in one sequence but I'm not sure)

Tons of older cartoons had smoking characters. I believe that Tom from T&J smoked and spike the dog from the same series smoked cigars then in looney toons the bad guys usually smoked.

Naturally. I mean back in those old "unenlightened" times, The Flinstones plugged cigarettes, and even Spacely and Cogswell could pack away the tobacco in the Jetsons.

Cyril Sneer from The Raccoons. There was also an episode where Lisa starts smoking in order to fit in with her new friends.

Basil (The Great Mouse Detective) smoked a pipe when he needed to concentrate, and later on while dressed up as a thug he smoked a cigarette.

Cyril Sneer, the villain in the Raccoons, was constantly smoking a cigar throughout the entire series. There were only a few instances when he was seen without it, such as when he swallowed it in shock, or when another character (who was shown as intruding on his life) took it from him.

Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin ('B:TAS') - strangely, he has cigarette but it isn't lighted:shrug:, but in the following 'TNBA' he no longer smokes.:)

Nobue Itoh from 'Ichigo Mashimaro' (a.k.a. 'Strawberry Marshmallow') ocassionally smokes in this anime series, which is geared towards younger viewers.
