With the arrival of X-Men 3: The Last Stand to regular edition DVD today (discuss the movie here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=167385) and the DVD here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=175598)), are there any animated X-Men memories you’d like to share? Have a favorite character, a favorite moment, voice actor, etc, from the different animated incarnations of the X-Men?

I know this subject has been done before, but let’s make this an X-cellent day to remember!

(I know, a horrible pun!)

The 90s X Men has a really recognizable theme song, who doesnt get pumped as soon as that music starts.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

Proteus I remember thinking "Oh my god, they melted Wolverine."

Beauty and the Beast This episode reportedly made Stu weep uncontrollably.

Nightcrawler Somehow the pacifist hero worked very well in the action cartoon. (Dove should have taken notes.)

Pryde of the X-Men If only for the fluid animation and tan and brown costume.

One of my all-time favorite moments is when Wolverine fights with Alpha Flight. I'm a geek when it comes to Wolverine and his Canadian roots and I thought the X-Men cartoon from the 90s did it justice. The Wolverine in X-Men: Evolution I thought worked fine and they did a good job exploring his Weapon X origin and his World War 2 history.

I can remember watching the premiere of X-MEN: TAS. It came out not long after I'd gotten into comics and X-MEN was one of my favorite titles, so I was really excited about there being a cartoon. My brother and I got up Saturday morning and watched it, and we loved it. My favorite characters were Gambit, Wolverine, and Cyclops. I remembering being surprised that Beast was captured so quickly in the first episode. I watched the first couple of seasons before ultimately losing track of the show, so I never got to see the later seasons. But I have fond memories of spending my Saturday mornings watching it with my little brother.

Also still enjoy the PRYDE OF THE X-MEN pilot. Sure, there's changes here and there and Wolverine's Australian, but it just looks so damn cool. It's got some great animation, that cheesy by catchy theme song ("X-Men! X-Men!"), it moves fast, and G.I. JOE's Duke plays Cyclops! I watched it so many times when it came out I had the entire thing memorized.

I remember my first impressions of certain episodes as a kid:

"OMG! He picked up a building!"

"Why did Wolverine take off his shirt and not his mask?"

"It's the same episode! AGAIN! But different!"

I always liked the Time travel episode, the christmas one actually made me cry at the end.

I thought Evolution was a good series, when Angel came in and Beast it started rockin'. The Captain America episodes of both series were enjoyable.
