I particulary liked the ones from the Scooby and Scrappy Doo era featuring Scrappy beckoning for Scooby and Shaggy to go into the haunted house. It always had a creepy theme, as in the background sometimes featured several shadowed figures running from the house(who I assumed where Fred, Daphne and Velma), and sometimes didn't.

I always loved the '13 Ghosts' title cards with Scooby opening the Chest of Demons.

The Scooby and Scrappy one actually began in the final "Scooby Doo Show" year: same background, but had the gang running (animated), sort of like the 2nd 1969 version. Then, the following two years, was Scrappy carrying Shaggy and Scooby with the silhouettes in the background, and then I believe it was the following season the silhouettes were dropped, and you just see a cross (gravestone) in the back.

That kind of makes sense since Velma, Daphne and Fred weren't in the later Scooby and Scrappy series. Actually, I remember seeing shadowed figures in a few title cards for "The Scooby-Doo Show," but I don't think they were in all of them. I think a few just showed the Mystery Machine. I think I remember it that way.

As for my favorite: Definitely the standard "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" title cards.

I liked seeing Shaggy holding a flashlight at the guest star.

The 1969 "run loop" thing always made a Scooby show for me.
My second favorite was the Pup title card with Pup Scooby running and Shaggy yelling and hanging onto that leash for dear life.

Let's not forget there were 2 different Pup title cards used during the first and last episodes respectively.

I'm going to have to go with the original "Where Are You?" '69 title card with the gang running in the continuous loop. The groovy music really makes it number one for me. I'm also fond of the "New Scooby Movies" title card with Shaggy holding the flashlight on the guest star.

Ah, yes. That also ranks as my favorite Scooby opening sequence, as well. I wish they'd have caught that 13th Ghost, though. This was the only Scooby series with an actual running storyline, and they never properly concluded it. There were only 13 episodes, and the entire first episode was them releasing the ghosts. The next 12 only had ghost apiece, so #13 got away.

I'd like to see them do a DTV with the original crew plus Flim Flam, Vincent Van Ghoul (They'd have to get a decent imitator for Price), and Scrappy going after the 13th ghost.

I'm trying to remember if there were two ghosts captured in one episode. I thought there were, and for that reason figured all 13 were captured. I never remembered all the episodes by heart, and looking online, the synopses I've found aren't that detailed.

I was thinking about this the other day, and was thinking of starting a thread, but did a search and found this thread.

If I can add my vote, better late than never, my favorite vie far the Scooby Doo Where Are You!! from episode 3 onwards. It was so cool that the gang was still moving, it is rare for title cards to have that effect.

Though I wish What's New Scooby Doo didn't do away with the title cards, there is something to say about tradition. I know it is the hip now edgy things to do, is just to list the title at the beginning of the episode, like DC shows like The Batman or Teen Titans are known to do, but still I wish that kept that tradition alive.
