Voting was really light in this round. Must have been due to the morbid subject matter. No one liked thinking about their favorite shows being garrotted.

The most interesting result was that "The Tick" completely dominated the results, with the top three vote-getters being Tick mourners.

Second place was actually a tie, shared by optimal321 and SilverKnight.

But first place wasn't even close, the runaway winner being calhoun07 for his very moving tribute.

Something else shared by all the winners: I couldn't open your avatars to copy them up for this thread. So if you'll send me a copy, I'll go back and edit them into this post for posterity.

I am going to email you my avatar. Did you ever get the last one I sent you? I never did see it posted in the results? I just want to make sure I am using the right addy.

I got it, but I didn't find it until today. I don't check that other email account except when doing the contests. :rolleyes:

I'll put it up in the Holiday thread when I get all the avatars in. Do it all at once.

Ah jeez, i feel so bad. I tied for second and didn't even vote :( . I thought it ended today. Thanks for voting for me anyway. And congrats Calhoun and Silvernight.

Well all those I voted for got their place - I think pretty much in order too. Ahh, the mind of the majority!

So that's where the thread was. Oops.

Congratulations, everyone. I'm a little surprised that none of the Invader Zim avatars were nominated. Oh well, the Tick was cancelled twice.
