...anybody know if there were ever plans for Indiana Jones in animation? If not, how about now?
...at this point, Indy-philes know that there have been more than a handful of passed-over scripts for live-action treatment (i.e., the Monkey King saga, the Scottish ghost story), and of course there have been various comic-book original stories done; maybe some (all?) of them could be turned into animated features, or incorporated into an animated Indy series.. I don't know how Harrison Ford feels about voiceover work; maybe an animated feature-length would appeal to him more than an animated show.. but who knows.. Maybe George Lucas could team up with Spielberg & Dreamworks Animation to work on this.. They could tell tales from just about any point in Indy continuity, and not have to worry about the "obvious" aspect of Ford's age..
