I guess this is a bad time to say that was the most edited episode (10 edits; a tie with The Real Folk Blues pt. 1).

Really? Damn. I hope they put up the unedited version when the Saturday block begins. This is one of my favorite episodes, even with the cuts.

They kinda cut one of the coolest parts in the entire series out. For anyone who hasn't seen it unedited, when Udai slices one of the prisoner's necks about 5 min. into the episode, instead of getting a blank look on his face, and tilting his head to one side, one of the veins in his neck sprayes a literal geyser of blood, which then floats around the ship's cabin like red rain. It was bad-ass.

Maybe it wasn't as graphic last night, but it did spray and float about the cabin last night. I'm guessing from your description it was a lot messier in the uncut version.

My favorite part was the idiot who walked into the area where a ship had collided with the penal vessel without checking the air pressure on the other side... and we just see him go floating by the screen, lifeless.

Well that scene was there. Except the geyser of blood has been digitally reduced. And the quantity of floating blood droplets has also been digitally reduced.

But yea, Williams Street really whipped out the mop for this episode. Here's the rest of the edits:

- the blood has been digitally removed from guard corpses

- the puddle of blood has been digitally removed when Udai pours out the champagne.

- a scene was cut of a dead guard with a mouth full of champagne

- the pilots' corpses had their blood digitally removed

- the con pilot's corpse had its blood and bulletholes digitally removed

- the spout of blood when Udai got shot was digitally removed, and then the puddle around his head had been digitally reduced

- when Jet grabs the pistol off the ground, the blood around it had been digitally removed.

ya, thats about it. I remember him falling over with the blood spurtin out like a fountain, that Udai is one badazz. I didn't notice the cut scene of the champagne tho, but thats kinda stupid that they took it out, as theres some sort of irony in the sense hes pouring it into the dead guy. It was a good episode, and it was much clearer then the crappy fansubs u download off the net.

yeah even though they wipped out the mop, it was an awesome episode and one of the best dub jobs
