Jigoku Shoujo is going to start airing on November 4th and as of right now, it'll be running for 11 one hour episodes, seems pretty normal for a J-Drama.

EDIT - Ahh, screwed up the title, can a mod edit it?

If they really did release a Jigoku Shoujo live action series, I would probably enjoy it. The anime was very lack luster and became dumb the moment it started coming with a recurring character.
