Does CN own an uncut print of Southern Fried Rabbit?

"Mouse and Garden" and "Ready, Woolen and Able" from 1960... they are always throwing in stuff like that.

I missed some of this show, so it's nice to know they didn't air anything unusual.

Yeah. I imagine the reason they throw in one or two out-of-sequence cartoons is to fill up remaining time. I would rather see a couple extra cartoons fill time than a bunch of those Powerpuff Girls music videos, wouldn't you?

At this point, Jon, I'd rather see ANYTHING else! CN doesn't seem to know the meaning of "overplayed"....

Actually, ABC didn't know the meaning of overplayed. I remember they played "Hare Trimmed" four times withing twenty shows (remember, this was on weekly, not daily). Actually, this "Hare" DID get supremely "Trimmed" by the censor-happy ABC network. Get it? :p

ABC played the Tweety cartoons a lot too. I don't remember "Hare Trimmed" being too overplayed, but "14 Carrot Rabbit" was . What I was never able to figure out was why my ABC network was a week behind on their Bugs and Tweety shows...I'd get what most of you saw the week AFTER it aired.

Same here. My ABC affiliate showed local programming every Saturday after 10 am. So, they'd show B&T at 6 am in the morning (and they'd only show 1/2 an hour of it, too, so that they could show the other ABC shows they'd pre-empt). But it was the show from the week before too.

When I was at college, I had a different ABC affiliate, and they showed B&T at its correct time, and for a full hour too. It was almost like I was in edited cartoon heaven! :bosko:
