Fantastic Four: how many episodes?

I've been trying to find out how many episodes of the new Fantastic Four are in season one. Everything I've read says six episodes. Is that right? I thought most American cartoons were thirteen episodes per season.

I thought there were going to be 26 eps as a starting TOTAL, but I figured that'd be over the course of two seasons. Are there really going to be either only 6 eps in this season, or 26 in this season? 0_0 I don't get it.
