"Often an Orphan" (Released 8/13/49)

Geez, what a bad premise the cartoon "Hare-Breadth Hurry" was, Bugs subbing for the Roadrunner!? No wonder the studio was getting ready to close down! :( But then we see the result of that woe in such a cartoon as "Out and Out Rout", one of those subcontracted RR's.

The time compressed print of "Cracked Quack" is the ugliest of all the time compressed prints I have EVER seen, very dark, murky and blurry, if anyone from CN is reading, PLEASE get the normal speed prints of all those time compressed cartoons! PLEASE!

And "Often an Orphan".... a classic :-)

For a while, Monday shows were the most likely to have seventh cartoons. Those shows were LNB&W and the B&D Show . While reviewing today's Bugs & Daffy, I was expecting to see a seventh cartoon at the end. (What were they anyway, only 40 seconds too late:rolleyes: )
