According to the awesome site Superhero Hype!, a new animated Batman series is on the way. Here's what the site reported:
I have some insider information on Warner Brother's next strike in the Batman series. Apparently, the team that works on Batman will be starting another animated feature to be released in mid-2003. Not much info has been unveiled, but Batman and the Joker will be definitely characters, like normal.
From different co-workers I have heard different stories. One includes the origin of Batman and basically a more updated version of the live-action 'Batman' movie of the eighties. However I have also heard it will focus around a sort of 'No Man's Land' story, telling of chaos in Gotham City after a major earthquake. Despite which one is used, one thing is for certain: the characters will be most likely in 3D.
Now some might worry about this, but it only means that the characters will look like in 'The Batman-Superman Adventures', but 3D. Possible chance of a TV Show may also follow. Let's see what happens and I'll keep in touch.
Stay tuned for more information on this possible developing project here at TZN!
