Who thinks that a new Fantasia movie would be a good idea. I sure do. I am a huge fan of the oringinal and 2000 was definatly OK.

No way Jose.

The 2000 version was dreadful and an insult to the original classic. EVERYTHING that could possibly be said using sound and images was done to PERFECTION in the original, LANDMARK movie.

BTW- Fantasia 2000 should have been called Fantasia 1988 with it's long list of dated celebrities such as Penn and Teller, Steve Martin , Bette Midler and Angela Lansbury.

With all the Disney remakes, I'm surprised we're not getting a new Fantasia every 5 years.

At one point, they were aiming for that. Last year, Disney's 2D "Little Matchgirl" short was finished. It was originally supposed to be part of Fantasia 2006.
