Okay, you know, I don't pick up this title, but I am interested in Arana, (what can I say? Her own comic book was so awful and cheesy, I ended up enjoying it on a certain level).
So I'm curious, anyone who's read this Civil War tie-in, what's happening to Arana? Did her father punish her when he found out she's a superhero? I'm a bit bewildered by the fact that Arana's plots are continuing here in Mrs. Marvel, and not in a Spider-Man title, (or in a new miniseries for her).

It "concluded" with Spider-Man/Arana The Hunter Revealed one shot. She was no longer a hunter and he began a crime fighter career. Her dad was still clueless of her power. But her story continues in Ms. Marvel, where she must tell her dad about her powers register with the government.
So her dad didn't know what she was before this issue. (What can I say, I like her books, but her appearance drastically changed from before, I liked her earlier appearance better).
What I don't get, is that Iron Man said that since she is a minor (15) she is not required to register and can not be prosecuted under SHRA, so why did S.H.I.E.L.D. go after the Young Avengers and Runaways who are all under 18 as well? Moly from Runaways is just 12.

To me she is the best thing about the crossover. You see a little bit of it in issue 6, but issue 7 was a great spotlight on her. Her father was not exactly mad more concerned. It was a really nice scene between Ms. Marvel, her father, and her.
To answer solarflere's question she did have to register. She just did not have to stay in the training facility full time.

Well, it certainly took me awhile to reply to my own thread but I finally was able to get Issue #6 the other day. My local comic shop had to special order it for me and I was only able to go and get it yesterday.
This arc is certainly interesting. It was very cool to see the Prowler make an appearance even though Ms. Marvel had to bust him up. And when did Julia Carpenter become Archane and drop the Spider-Woman name? I would have never thought she'd go rogue especially over the Shroud, a character I've never heard of before, but it makes for a good story.
The Arana character didn't do much for me. She really doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm not too familiar with Wonder Man much either.
While better than the Dr. Strange crossover, but not quite as good as the opening Brood arc, "Battle Lines" gets 4 stars from me.

Julia was the best thing about the arc...I cared for her and I knew nothing about her before that issue. that's good storytelling. unfortunately the pro side is just satanized again (I thought from day one they were wrong anyway) Carol was like out of character for me and the last two pages are bad...why they didn't just closed the story?
