"Not Now" (Fleischer/Betty Boop)
How cute--Pudgy has his own little bed! Is this the first cartoon that Pudgy speaks? Poor Betty--looks like her cat troubles have increased about twentyfold at the end. Still, that cat's a pretty good singer--he and she should do Vegas together. They'd make a killing.
"Porky's Badtime Story" (WB)
Is anyone else getting bored with this one? It seems CN trots out both the B/W and colorized versions whenever they get a chance.
"A Great Big Bunch of You" (WB)
It looked like people were throwing some pretty still-usable stuff in that landfill. The puppet does a couple of impersonations--anyone know who they were?
"I'll Never Crow Again" (Fleischer/Popeye)
Reminded me a little of Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh, with the whole thieving crow angle. Fav scene: Popeye gets fed up with their arrogance and Olive's laughing...and kills two birds (pun not intended) with one stone. He puts her in the garden and scares the frig out of the little buzzards!
"A Day at the Beach" (MGM/Captain and the Kids)
Fav scene: The Captain gets his head stuck in the beach umbrella, which is then drenched in seawater and shrinks, trapping him. Who was the little bearded dwarf who kept unsuccessfully trying to build a sand castle?
"Porky's Railroad" (WB)
Watch for the bit where the bullet train zips past the pile of logs and scatters it. There's a monkeylike Negro caricature behind it--alluding to the expression "a n****r in the woodpile", meaning a hidden motive or agenda. LOL! I'm surprised that one didn't hit the cutting room floor!

Maurice Chavilla was one of the charicters
I'll have to look again and see who the other impersonation was.

The Betty Boop cartoon had a U.M.&M. The End card, minus the phrase "A U.M.&M. T.V. Corp. Presentation".
