Speech time! As this is a monumental birthday, I feel the need to say a few words. 'Cause I love embarrassing my pet Dalek. *pinches Joel's face*

I don't really remember when Joel and I started talking. I remember being scared of him at one point, until I learned that he's a timid little woodland creature. It was most likely Gwen that brought us together, but it was Javeman that sealed the deal on our fate. It was Jave's legendary "Lord Dalek and Kurt Wagner are getting married?" post that started my wonderful reputation on these here forums. My goodness, that was oh, nearly two years ago? Yeah, this November, I think it will be. Ah, Dalek ended up divorcing me, but the love is still there. Well, I think he still loves me, if there's any love left after all he has for sir Colin and Gwen. Tch, that boy gets around. I have cyborg cooties forever, now, thanks to him. It's not treatable, unfortunately.

Joel introduced me to Doctor Who, as well as a few other Brit-coms, and also got me back into Monty Python and the Twilight Zone. He provided me with hours of entertainment by just blathering on about sound systems, aspect ratio problems, and game show guests. I watched him grow from being a cold, heartless robot (whoops! I mean, cyborg.) to being a human-like cyborg who's a really good friend of mine. It's still kind of creepy when he says something heartbeat-y.

He is the ultimate confuser of Kury, he's my pet red Dalek, he's my go-to man when it comes to anything related to sci-fi, British hoohah, or game shows... he's my Joely, and I adore him to bits.

So have a really good day, sweetie. Geek it out, like only you know how.
