What are the things that you would like to change in the Batman's History

I've been wondering about this for a long time. Granted that DC has made many good choices for Batman in the past years, but they've also made many mistakes. What would you change in Batman's history?

Here are mine:

Comics

-I think I wouldn't have added so many sidekicks into Batman's life, an example would be Bruce's bodyguard is now a superhero AND she knows Batman's identity
-So many of Bruce's friends know his identity

Movies

-The biggest mistake was kiling off Joker in the first movie.
-I wouldn't have made Two-Face and The Riddler into almost exact replicas of Joker

Animated

-Bruce and Barbara were dating (BB Continuity)
-Ra's Al Ghul is now in Talia's body (BB Continuity)
-Bruce still hasn't got a girl :p (BB Continuity)

I also agree that killing the Joker in the movies, making Bruce's bodyguard a superhero in the comics, and having Bruce and Barbara get together in BB were big mistakes.

However, I think that one of the recent mistakes in Batman comics is not using Alfred as much as they could. But maybe they just finished using him a bunch, I just started following the regular comics again.

Actually, Peter, Alfred quit. And it's been many long LOOOONG months without him. (he's over in Robin now but it's not the same) I miss Alfred, I misshimImisshim!!!!It's like a sore tooth-I just can't quit touching it. He'll be back soon though, in the bruce wayne-murderer storyline-at least that's what I heard.

I don't read the mainstream comics much, but I do agree that some of the sidekicks need to go.

I wouldn't have brought Jean-Paul, Spoiler, Huntress, the new Batgirl, and Bruce's new bodygaurd into the superhero fold (hell, I am almost expecting to hear news of Batmite and Ace being reintroduced into the mainstream comics soon). In my opinion, the only sidekicks that Batman should have are Batgirl, Robin, and Knightwing (but only on a limited basis once DG gets to that stage of his life).

Comic-

Barbara would still be Batgirl and Catwoman would have been killed.

Animated-

I would have never created Batman Beyond.

Movies-

They have movies? :D

In the mainstream books, I would change continuity back to the way it was pre-Crisis, where Batman had actually solved the murder of his parents and remained Batman simply because it was the right thing to do. He was less demented back then and more enjoyable for me to read.
