No....

especially since it's a remake of an earlier toon where a wolf did the same thing! O.O

I think there's another recent thread, where a cartoon's orginal ending was recently released where the main character blows it's head off! O.o

No. Show-Biz Bugs is Not the only cartoon that features a character committing suicide. Several others include:

To Itch his Own where a cat sees the flea carrying Elmer and his dog on a dinner plate and shoots himself in the head. This is censored on CN.

Mouse Mazurka the Russian mouse drinks nitro-gycerine and dances, causing himself to blow up. Sylvester then does the same thing and he dies as well. He continues to chase the mouse in heaven.

Those old films are full of Suicide, it's just usually edited out for TV.

Horton Hatches the Egg: Fish shoots himself after saying "Well, now I've seen everything!"

The Stupid Cupid: Cat shoots himself

Scaredy cat: Sylvester puts a gun to his head, but Porky stops him.

Blue Cat Blues: Tom and Jerry commit a joint suicide.

Curtain Razor: The cartoon Show Biz Bugs is a remake of, has the same nitroglycerine gag.

Hare Ribbin: The alternate ending features the dog shooting himself (the original had Bugs kill him).

Plane Daffy: Several axis power types shoot themselves (Goebels, Goering, etc)

Porky's Romance (I've only heard of this one): Porky tries to hang himself.

Winner By A Hare: Check out the other threads, they have more information on Moe Hare killing himself.

Tortoise Wins By A Hare: The gangster Rabbits all shoot themselves.
