Did Anyone Hear that "Star Trek" is coming to the TV Land channel?

I heard about it last weekend while watching a Daniel Boone marathon.

I'll get the particulars on the airdate on my next trip to TV Land's website.

EDIT: Okay, I'm back. Apparently, it's going to be a four-hour "40th Anniversary" marathon on Friday, Sept. 8.

Why should we care? Star Trek is on every channel... SpikeTV, Sci-Fi, G4... Why not TV Land?! TOS is a classic '60s series! It at least fits TV Land's vibe, like it fits Sci-Fi's vibe. It's a wonder it didn't show up on TV Land or even Nick @ Nite sooner. But it's gonna be part of the regular schedule in November.
