Basically the style is a departure from what I'm normally doing. I'm happy with it though I keep going back and forth on a more traditional coloring or my duotone type of style. Anyway...

EXCELLENT work, JasonM. From the line owrk, to the perspectives to the flow... everything about this is very solid. I can see what you mean about the color and Id keep the duotone, but not make it intense. Id wash the color out a bit and allow the drawing to make the statement. Right now the color is so intense it takes away from the work.
Excellent!

Wow. This is the first time I've walked into The Drawing Board and what do I find? Just amazing JasonM.
Constructive criticism right right. Ummm thinking.....the only thing I'd change is the background. On the other hand maybe the background (vortex?) is basking the creature in it's light. If so maybe a sheen or a deeper purple on the shadows of the outline? I dunno.
Still very very cool JasonM
