Is Anyone Gonna Buy Mangaverse?

I was just wondering if anyone was gonna buy that Marvel Mangaverse that's coming out this week. I might try out the first and last ones along with the ninja Spiderman. What about you guys?

Supposely the Marvel Mangas have sold out and Marvel will publish a monthly title in this version of the Marvel Universe. http//:www.marvel.com
has the info for the first issue of the monthly that deals with Capitan Marvel.

Very unlikely. I'm not a huge Manga fan to begin with, and I don't have the money. But kudos to Marvel for doing it! I know there are a lotta people who are gonna buy it.

I've only heard about this from my buddy Knux Five. I'd like to know more if I could find it.

www.***************.com had previews of 4 of the Marvel Mangaverse books last Friday. I believe it's the Marvel Mangaverse, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and The Avengers. Each book gets a sample of 4 pages.

Honestly, of the 4 books, only the Spider-Man book has anything resembling staying power for me, managing to be a fitting tribute to the original comic as well as something that works in the manga style. The other four books just look badly written, unfortunately, and I'm not terribly interested in reading any of them any further based on the 4 pages I've seen so far.

X-Men looks like they took X-Men, Adobe Photoshop, and a squirle with a shotgun, and mixed it all in a can. There is no way I'm going to touch that comic...uhg...terrible...
Avengers looks interesting. I might pick it up.
Fantastic Four is very curious in my eyes..I'll probably pick it up.
Captain Marvel? Looks nice..I'll think about it.

the spider-man, x-men, and avengers mangas are three of the coolest comics to come out in months! All three are one-shots and have great art and stories. There's also mangas of punisher(a girl punisher) fan4 and ghostrider/hellshock plus the two mangaverse books. Hurry up and buy them already!
