New Avatar: Secret of the Fire Nation Promo (Spoilers)

Hey guys

I was just flipping through the channels yesterday. They were showing Fury of Aang. But during the break they showed a new promo of an old character coming back. Jet comes back, but he is helping Prince Zuko. It states Jet is not to be trusted, something along the lines. Then it says Avatar: Secret of the Fire Nation watch on September 15, 2006... As I was in hurry about to take out the trash during the commerical break, I caught only the last part of the promo...

Hmmm I'm not so sure it's that new (I saw on the Avatar speculation thread they said Jet would return) but I did see that promo the other day. Ironically my friend was asking me when Jet would return so I'm glad to see it's here. Didn't expect it to be with Zuko and Iroh though. Jet also mentioned he "thought a lot about the mistakes he made in the past" (or something along those lines) but I have a feeling things will turn sour if he learns just who Iroh and Zuko are.

Today is the first time I've seen them, though... the first one, the one with Jet, I was looking away at the time and glanced at the TV and saw him on-screen. I saw the second about half an hour or so later... that one made me a whole lot more excited because they showed a lot of action and made it seem that someone gets killed.
Oh, and thanks for reminding me of the spoilerific review of the special at Animation Insider. I do not intend to read it until after the special airs on TV, but I'll put this advance warning out now... when I do the talkback for that day, I'll remember specifically to mention that no spoilers from that review will be allowed to be posted.

Who is Jet?

I need more Avatar in my life...sigh.

He's the basic robin hood of Avatar, trying to do hit and run attacks on the Fire Nation.

See Episode 10: Sokka leads the gang to travel on foot to avoid being spotted by Fire Nation troops, but they walk upon an encampment of theirs anyway. They're attacked, Jet and his troop of Freedom Fighters rescue them. Aang's enamoured by Jet's skill, Katara by Jet, Sokka... by neither. Sokka's instincts about Jet are confirmed when he discovers Jet's plan to blow up a dam, which in turn would flood a Fire Nation village... full of soldiers and innocents. Aang and Katara initially help Jet's plan along, realize too late their error, and fail to stop him from blowing the dam. Luckily, Sokka thought ahead and got the villagers out in time. Katara literally gives Jet the 'cold shoulder,' then leaves with the guys.

Basically, if Katara and Jet cross paths in the special... boy, are the fireworks gonna fly!
