The last episode of Brandy & Mr. Whiskers…

The episode airs Friday the 25th at 1:30 PM.

Episode Summaries – SPOILERS

The Tortoise and the Harebrain: Ever since the great race between the tortoise and the hare, turtles have been insulting rabbits at every opportunity they get, since they consider themselves superior due to the fact that they won in the past. However, with Brandy’s encouragement, Mr. Whiskers decides to challenge an insulting tortoise to a race to settle the score once and for all.

Rip Van Whiskers: After coming into contact with a bunch of poisonous frogs, Mr. Whiskers realizes that he only has twenty-four hours to stay awake before he’ll fall asleep for fifty years. Brandy, feeling responsible, decides to help him do everything on a list that he wants to fulfill before he falls into his deep sleep, though she is reluctant to fulfill his wish to kiss a pretty girl.

I’ve seen the episodes on Disney’s site and I loved both of them. Unfortunately, there are a few moments with gross humor, though the scenes pass quickly and I don’t believe they detract too much from the episode. I also believe fans of the series should really enjoy these episodes, though since this is the last episode of the series, I hope other people will check it out.

The ending to Rip Van Whiskers is something I loved, though mostly for the scenes that led up to the ending, since the ending itself ruined the moment. Either way, I’ll have more to say once the episode actually airs, as I don’t wish to spoil anything.

Well, now that the last episode has aired, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers is cancelled in my eyes, since there are no more new episodes. I loved the series, and I believe this episode was entertaining enough to end the series on; I wish there would have been some type of official conclusion, though as the guys on the American Dragon told me in a reply, Disney is gradually forsaking their animated endeavors for the sake of their live-action series. Disney didn’t really support the series, since the new episodes aired in a horrible time-slot without much of a word that new episodes were coming, though there’s nothing I can do about it now.

I loved the emotional scene with Brandy in Rip Van Whiskers. I know the real ending of the episode negated the value of the emotional scene, though Brandy kissing Mr. Whiskers then breaking down into tears, albeit with her touching comments, was just brilliant in my opinion.

Brandy: (crying, to a sleeping Mr. Whiskers) In your fifty years of dreams, I can only hope you’ll have as much fun as I had sharing this Amazon with you.

Brandy and Mr. Whiskers's fate? Haha, kinda reminds me of another show...just facing the same torture....TENS. Horrible time slot, low advertising, and an undercover fan-dom.

But anyway, I never really got hooked on the show, I thought it was ok. Surprisingly, it did really well in Latin America and Europe. It's aired on Costa Rica about two times a day...when people watch TV.

You know what: I think this show should be handled by another company. With Disney dismissing a lot of their own 'tons, why can't WB or any other company buy the shows from the Mouse House?

Yeah, that would be a good idea...

Besides I hear that people that watch Hahnna Montana, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, etc. want to get rid of all cartoons on Disney and Toon Disney... I even saw petitions saying this, too... :(

Then we got alot of ignorant people on those petitions then, I rather see 101 Dalmatians the series, Ducktales, Talespin, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, and Darkwing Duck over Hannah Montana and the rest of the live action junk on Disney channel and on Toon Disney

I know right! Toons are the only reason I watch Disney! :)
