...disney land california?I haven't been there since 1999.Can anyone tell me what they did to it?Good things or bad things?

Haven't seen it in person, but there's been a couple videopodcasts and youtube ride-throughs...

Various film props, including the Muerta chest, have been placed in the Anaheim ride. It's revealed that the cavern narration has always been Davy Jones, and he shows up against a waterfall you pass through before going towards the pirate ship. Still the Wicked Wench, but manned by Hector Barbossa now, looking for Captain Jack. Jack first shows up, hiding between dress mannequins, right behind the fountain where Mayor Carlos is being dunked. Then Jack shows up in a barrel, poking his head out as a pirate (formerly willing to share his missing wife, then his food stash) brags about a treasure map. Jack's last appearance is where, between this rehab and the mid90s one, 2 pirates are trying to get the treasure up the waterfall (they were refugees from Epcot's World of Motion). Anyway, Jack's lounging in a chair, bragging about all the treasure he's gotten away with. The waterfall effect with Jones, the Barbossa and Sparrow AAs... they all look amazing on video. Gotta imagine they look even better in person, but that's some weeks away before I'll know.
