Dick Grayson posted info on the news page about part 2 not being for kids. What do you think will happen this time?

I think we may get some intense fight scenes. Amazons are warriors born, so I bet they go all out when duking it out. Plus, if they have a bunch of swords...well...you can see where I'm going with this!

This episode should look like a more violent version of Xena. I still wanna know how Faust and male Leaguers get on the island. Since men are forbidden.

I think the "men are forbidden" thing is from the silver age (although don't know for sure because I never read them). The current version in the comics does not have this limitation.

I thought that it still did.

Around issue 50 of the current series, if I remember correctly, the Amazons invited people to the island (men and women).

I think they don't like men being there, but there's no mystical limitation.

There are other examples that I have in my memory of men being on the island, but I can't remember exact issues...

Steve Trevor got there at least once way back when... :bosko:

Yeah, he did around the same time that Darkseid and his minions did.

But it's still pretty early in the T.V. show, so I'll bet that men aren't tolerated.

I, for one, am almost glad we're having an adult episode with Wonder Woman, and that it's getting so much attention. Diana deserves some positive time in the spotlight, and if JL is the way to do it, then so be it.

I can't wait until Monday night!

I don't remember seeing any other JLers in the commercial...just WW. It seemed like the dude that was flying around didn't touch the ground, so that could be how they got around that limitation.

I think Superman and Green Lantern will also be in the episode, I think - not sure who else besides that. Bruce Timm talks about the episode in the newspage if you want to talk about the episode. This episode is being pegged as JL's last big "hollywood style" episode, so it'll be interesting to see episodes after this one.

Men weren't exactly forbidden on the island. They just hadn't set foot on its shores in thousands of years (at least according to the current continutiy in the comic books).

Steve Trevor was the first man to do so since Heracles and his men in "our time" when his plane was damaged.

And then later, when Diana released Heracles from under the island (his punishment was to bear the weight of the island upon his shoulders for all time) he finally set foot on the island again.

And Cory is correct. A group of people was invited to the island when the Amazons decided to "open the island" (think the opening of Japan to the West only not "forced").

Ha, ha, Bruce Timm is praising Koko. What a laugh since they are very average. What a PR man.

On an interesting side note...

To my knowledge, Superman hasn't been to Themyscira...but Lois has. ;)

In the afore mentioned story arc where Themyscira opened it's doors to the world...
