Could it be because they're the BIG 3? Dun dun dun! :p

Very nifty looking, if only the art wasn't trying to beautify a snapper case. :(

I thought he meant BVD! I was hoping to find artwork for new Justice League Underoos! :p

I don't like that artwork. It should have ALL the members of JL in it, and it's a snapper case.

It's about what I would expect from WB, snapper case and all. It stinks, though it is better than the dreadful World's Finest cover.

The snapper case is just...guh...At least the cover art is good compared to the afore mentioned World's Finest cover art. I'm not really surprised it focused on the "big three", since those characters are considered their most marketable.

The cover art is pretty good but I was hoping that they would include all seven members. The background looks stunning. Ive havent heard much on the extras on this DVD. It is rumored to have a commentary, trailer, a game and a spanish audio track. My only problem is that is a snapper case that I quite hate.

correct me if i'm wrong here... but I thought the Justice League consisted of more than just 3 characters. grrrrr.... this type of thing really irks me. it gets right under me skin and is quite annoying. This is one of the reasons why I always liked the "lesser" characters. They don't get as much appearance, but when they do...watch out! It figures as much. Well enough of my ranting...i should go back to drawing, not commentating...its not my forte.

I don't have too much of a problem with the lack of characters on the cover...of course, it would be nice to have all 7, BUT at least we're getting a DVD in the first place...and what's wrong with DVD snap-cases???

It looks good, but it's kind of weird. Wonder Woman's had very little to do in the show so far, but I can see how she's more recognizable than GL, MM, and Hawkgirl. Actually, Flash would probably be as marketable (and had more to do in the premiere), but I guess they wanted to keep the guy/girl ratio close. The snapper case sucks though.

and what's wrong with DVD snap-cases???

They are cumbersome and can be easily broken when placing another DVD next to one of them(if your space is tight). Plastic keepcases are vastly superior and they are better looking on the shelf. Also, snappers and keepcases aren't the same width, so it looks funny if your the type that puts their DVDs in alphabetical order. A friend of mine keeps all of his snappers together so it isn't that big of a deal for him, but he still hates the dreaded things. Besides, WB and New Line are the only companies that still use them. They need to get with the program. They have to know that DVD enthusiasts hate them. This is WB were talking about, though, they aren't too bright.

I gotta group my snapper cases away from my other DVDs, too. And they area pain to stack. I may get a DVD rack just so I don't break them. I already have one DVD snap case looking a bit weird. The only reason why WB and New Line do snap cases is because AOLTW owns majority stock in the company that makes snapper cases, and therefore they continue to use them. And snapper cases are just ugly and cheap.

Looks like it's time to repost this:

Top 10 Reasons to Hate Snapper Cases

10) The cardboard is more prone to damage than a keeper case where the insert is protected.

9) There are THREE stickers you have to peel off of a snapper case from our friends at WB. And sometimes that glue sticks a bit better than it should, and RIP, you have a damaged case that cannot be replaced.

8) Speaking of replacements, where do you get one for a snapper? You can pick up empty keep case amrays rather easilly, but who's selling replacements for snapper cases? And you can never replace the cardboard artwork.

7) The snaps themselves eventually may not lock down. I have some that just kind of hang open, either on one end or the other or both. My keep cases keep closing every time.

6) No room for a collectible booklet. For a special edition DVD release, forget getting anything extra nice in an inset in a snapper case, because they can't have booklets put in them!

5) The size. They do not stack well at all with your keep cases on a DVD shelf.

4) The hubs keeping the DVDs in are the total opposite of the keep cases where you struggle to get your DVDs out. I have had more loose DVDs in snappers than in keep cases that I had to take back because they were defective.

3) Those stupid buy three get one free things WB puts in there are loose and can cause scratches to the DVDs. If this was a keep case, they could easilly tuck away that little ad of theirs in with the collectible booklet.

2) Becauase they are catered only to fit a single disc, we are treated to stupid flippers more than nice two disc sets when a two disc set is clearly in the customer's best interest, such as with V, the mini series on DVD. How could WB ever put out a nice two disc set of that? They can't! Because snappers only will fit one CD, not like the nice keep cases they use for Shrek and Gladiator with that nice little divider that separates the disc. So WB releases more flippers, and flippers suck too.

And the number one reason to hate snapper cases? BECAUSE THEY JUST PLAIN SUCK! For all the reasons I stated above and also from a collector's point of view, everything about them says they won't last as long as my DVDs in keep cases, and I don't like that at all.

And there is one more reason....you can't do nice double disc sets with these. That's why WB tends to embrace the equally dreaded flipper DVD.

Those are GREAT points, Cal, and all of them are true. Still, back to the JL cover art - the art can sor tof work. If you've seen the menu show we posted in the newspage awhile back, you see that the menu is just like the cover, except that the 4 other leaguers are added in the menu. The cover art and menu are sor tof connected, I think. We see the "big 3", then we see more JLers revealed!
