That's a Boomerang worth have'n right there. A nice mix of very classic, modern classic and uh... Pokemon. I really wish I had it now.

only half an hour of warner bros cartoons (Looney Tunes)? Or is it an hour?
And still has M,L,& O which doesn't belong........
well, at least I can see G&F at a decent time, unlike when they aired it on Toon Disney at like 2:00 AM!

wait till your father gets home - finally.
Now I'll have to set the DVD-R.
finally someone at Boomerang is mixing up the schedule a little bit better than the last few months.

good thing looney tunes are back.

Why is Boomerang still showing Dastardly & Muttley in Their Flying Machines? The DVD set has been available for over a year. There are still many H-B shows that haven't even been on Cartoon Network proper, such as Where's Huddles? and Jana of the Jungle.

Wow. No Smurfs? Hasn't that been running pretty well non-stop on Boomerang since they launched?
And I don't suppose these Looney Tunes blocks will include any Warner-owned post-'48s, will they?

Wow, no Smurfs? Maybe they'll be back when the movie is made in the next few years, along with the MISSING SEASONS. (Are you listening, Boomerang?)
I just wish we'd get Superfriends back on the channel until they get the rest of the series released. I'm dying to see the two Legendary Superpowers Episodes I haven't seen in years (Darkseid's Golden Trap and Uncle Myxlplk)

Wow, no Smurfs? Maybe they'll be back when the movie is made in the next few years, along with the MISSING SEASONS. (Are you listening, Boomerang?)Yeah, what they really need to do is actually run "The Smurfs," not the syndicated "Smurfs' Adventures." You'd think with Turner owning the Hanna-Barbera library, they'd be able to do that.
Since Nickelodeon is producing the movie, I wonder if their absence on Boomerang might have something to with Nick grabbing the rights?

I want to see Smurfs in its original form, too. Whenever I watched the eps when they were part of Smurfs' Adventures, they always managed to cut out a complete scene or two. One ep that stands out in my mind is "Squeaky," in which a scene was cut where Smurfette's pet mouse helps save Papa Smurf when his lab catches fire. The mouse dies shortly thereafter.
They're taking it off after all this time? Bummer.
Batfink, WB cartoons and Popeye might just about be enough to get me to tune in (and let's hope we get the black & white Popeyes, not those horribly colorized ones, I HATE them!)

Good news: FINALLY, AFTER YEARS OFF THE AIR AND UNAVAILABLE IN THE US, "WAIT 'TILL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME" MAKES IT'S RETURN!!! I too will be firing up my awfully vacant DVR for this. I just hope that the show is as good as I remember it was and as "controversial" as I've heard. Yay for "Garfield" as well, though IIRC it had been airing on Toon Disney these last couple of years. I just checked their schedule and it appears it isn't airing on TD as of late, so maybe CN yanked the rights from them. Garfield had a stint on old-school CN way back, before it was pulled and put into syndication or something, then to Toon Disney. WB cartoons sound great too, but what library and selection is gonna air though? Can Turner and WB get along?
Bad news: "Wait 'Till Your Father Gets Home" is STILL getting shafted even in today's world of TV, by being buried on late nights. Cartoon Network almost exclusively buried WTYFGH on late nights, usually once-a-week airings when it was airing it. I don't think it EVER aired outside of late nights on CN. Alas, this is the treatment that "risque/off-the-wall/misc." shows have always gotten on CN and now Boomerang. Look at "O Canada", "Late Night Black & White" and many more shows that aired or were moved into late night (like "G-Force" or recently "IGPX").
Also, still too many repeats and tired old shows clogging up the schedule.
Still though, this is probably the best Boomerang schedule I've seen this year, and probably in ages. Hopefully it is a step in the right direction, seeing as Boomerang fell off HARD after dumping it's now-classic 8-hour schedule back in early '05.
(Hell, this is the first time I've posted in the Boom board in eons!!!)

I sincerely hope not. They'll mangle the Smurfs even WORSE than the syndicated cuts. Look at what they did to Animaniacs and Pinky & The Brain when they aired those shows.

Granted, they rarely showed any of the more controversial episodes (but they did on at least one occasion  ).

The September schedule is the best they've had in a while, but there's still room for improvement. Alvin, Battle of the Planets, Thundercats and The Superfriends need to be added.

Excellent I love Garfield and Friends. I would call it a classic cartoon compared to Pokemon.

"Battle of the Planets" was snatched away from Turner by ADV almost two years ago, due to how comparitively poor it was doing on Boomerang (hence only 20 of the 85 episodes airing) and the bigger deal that ADV most likely offered Sandy Frank for the airing rights. It's currently under ADV's "Anime Network" lineup and doesn't look like its budging from there anytime soon. If anything Boomerang needs the rarely-aired "G-Force", but supposedly ADV has that under its claws as well, except it's not airing it AT ALL.

Oh dear god :o
Wait til your Father Gets Home?!
Richie Rich?!
A Pup named Scooby Doo?!
Dastardly and Muttley?!
I'm hating Canada right now for not giving me my Boomerang fix.
They need to release WTYFGH on dvd. WHEN OH WHEN?
I still don't understand why Dexter's Lab, Mike,Lu & Og and Pokemon are on Boomerang. I mean, they are old-ISH but certainly not boomerang material yet. They should still be on CN :/

I'm really intrigued by the inclusion of Hal Seeger Productions' "Batfink", as I wasn't aware that Time-Warner had the rights to it. It makes me wonder if there are any chances of seeing "Milton The Monster" on Boomerang in the future. Anyone have any more info on this? A nice schedule overall, by the way, but Pokemon is sticking out like a sore thumb IMO.

Saturday 9/30 - 4:00pm - Hollyrock-a-Bye-Baby
