that Bosko, Flip the Frog, and Bimbo all began their career in 1930 and ended in 1933.

Yeah, it is sort of odd. Bosko doesn't really count, though, he lasted (in various forms) at MGM 'til the late 30s.

"that Bosko, Flip the Frog, and Bimbo all began their career in 1930 and ended in 1933."

Maybe it is odd, maybe not... Bosko was worked on by Rollin "Ham" Hamilton, who earlier animated on the very early Flip the Frog cartoons. Bimbo was worked on principaly by Grim Natwick (along with Shamus Culhane, Al Eugster and Berny Wolf). All of them then quit and worked on... Flip the Frog.

Sooooo it took four men to replace Rollin Hamilton???;) Annnnd the character that he continued animating on (Bosko) went on living after the other characters croaked, and the "Fleischer Four" shuffled off to D*sn*y.
