Toon Zone News was the first to report (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16933) about Cartoon Network's new Saturday night action block. Now, Cartoon Network officially confirmed today at the Winter 2002 Press Tour the launch of a Saturday edition of Adult Swim, scheduled for February 23. The new Saturday edition of Adult Swim will be called Adult Swim Action and will continue to target the 18-24 demographic. The anime action programming block will air from 11:00 PM - 2:00 AM.
Joining current Cartoon Network shows "Tenchi," "Outlaw Star" and "Cowboy Bebop" are "Yu Yu Hakusho," "Pilot Candidate" and "Gundam 0083." The schedule is as follows:
11:00 PM - Yu Yu Hakusho
11:30 PM - Cowboy Bebop
12:00 AM - Pilot Candidate
12:30 AM - Gundam 0083
1:00 AM - Outlaw Star
1:30 AM - Tenchi Muyo
