Toon Disney/Jetix Fantsy Schedules

Post how you would schedule Toon Disney(or The jetix Channel)

This schedule would take place about October 2006

What i do is give a lot more time to Toon Disney and the older shows, and give less time to Jetix. Jetix has a lot of changes, from losing a lot of time at night and early in the moring, but get 1-3pm for lsoing all that time, and thats just on weekdays. What a major thing i did was pretty much get rid of every non-jetix show from toon disney, and deport them back to disney channel. And because of that, all the disney afternoon/one saturday morning toons return, and All dogs go to heaven the series comes as well(this is already planed for the real toon disney).

2. Remove the newer/modern Disney Cartoons all together (put those on regular Disney Channel)
3. Bring back THE CLASSICS and put the focus back on them! (isn't that what Toon Disney was created for?)
4. ALL CLASSICS, ALL THE TIME!

This schedule would take place about October 2006

What i do is give a lot more time to Toon Disney and the older shows, and give less time to Jetix. Jetix has a lot of changes, from losing a lot of time at night and early in the moring, but get 1-3pm for lsoing all that time, and thats just on weekdays. What a major thing i did was pretty much get rid of every non-jetix show from toon disney, and deport them back to disney channel. And because of that, all the disney afternoon/one saturday morning toons return, and All dogs go to heaven the series comes as well(this is already planed for the real toon disney).

Okay, for those just joining the program, last weekend, I introduced a new series of articles I called Scratchbuilding at my site.

In it, I rebuilt concepts from the ground up, and the first project I tackled was rebuilding Toon Disney from scratch.

I basically tried to bridge the Jetix concept, the Disney legacy, and the extended brands of Disney Animation together to form a new network. I noticed some folks (looking at you, Spyro99) read the article.

Since Batman and Superman are showing up on Jetix I'd say just about anything is possible. But to play it somewhat safe my schedule includes a few shows from 4kids that would be more than easy enough for Disney to nab on the fly but IIRC these three shows suit Jetix perfectly.

This is just Jetix with a slight expansion. I say move the movies on TD to 3-5PM.

I don't have the energy to do a schedule, but I do think the Power Rangers could use retooling.

Power Rangers Generations:
- Have it consist only of MMPR through Power Rangers Wild Force.
- Add more episodes from Mighty Morphin/Zeo/Turbo to fill in the episode count.

The reason for the removal is to put the Disney era episodes in a new block called Power Rangers Generations 2, or to be corny Power Rangers The Next Generations.

The only series to air independantly would be the preceeding then the current series. Take the proceeding and current series, then merge them into one series. Giving us three Power Rangers type programming on the block:

Power Rangers Generations 2 (The Next Generations)
Power Rangers (This year Mystic Force/Operation Overdrive, next year Operation Overdrive/Jungle Fury.

This schedule is based primarily of what will best attract and maintain my attention through all hours of the day. With that said, the shows that are my top favorites have the most airtime and the best timeslots while the shows that are my least favorites (even though I like them too) have limited airtime and not-so-desirable timeslots. I did not included any shows in the schedule that I don't care for or don't like because, afterall, this IS a "fantasy" schedule. How's adding Nicktoons anymore appropriate to a Disney Network (Favortisim much)? Don't get me wrong. If Toon Disney could acquire some classic Nicktoons it would be interesting, but then you can't complain about Jetix either.

Besides, Jetix isn't the cause of the low amount of Disney Classics. It's poor schedule management which is the cause.

Yeah WB classics is quite possible now given the current schedule but Nicktoons? I think that is still quite a stretch. Plus Jetix does seem to be going anywhere. Well I can deal with Jetix if it's bringing back shows like Batman Superman and Pinky and the Brain. Of course I would add a few more older Disney cartoons to the pre Jetix line up and a few more WB classics like Tiny Toons and Animaniacs to the Jetix line up.
