I was just wondering what everybody's favorite cartoon was all time. I love the all the Scooby-Doo Series, but my favorite is Laff-A-Lympics because it had a little bit of everything and The Scooby Doobies won most of the time:D

Uh... Digimon.
(Go ahead, laugh.)
But of a cartoon I've seen recently and doesn't likely have nostagia interfering, I'd say a tie between Xiaolin Showdown and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.

For me, it's definitely BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES. If I had to spend the rest of my life with only one single cartoon, I'd choose B:TAS.

I'd be cheating if I said the enitre DCAU so I'll just vote for Batman: The Animated Series. That program singlehandedly renewed my passion for the medium. I was in my mid-teen yrs and there were a lot of kiddie toons on syndication (Disney Afternoon stuff). BTAS upped the ante, paving the way for Gargoyles, Spawn, The Maxx, and other serious action animated programs to follow. Sadly there's been a dumbing down trend since '98 (I blame Pokemon & its numerous imitations)
Batman: The Animated Series is one of the greatest cartoons ever.

First: Futurama. The first show where I truly felt emotions for the characters.
Second, The Simpsons, Seasons 1-9. I can rarely find one episode out of that run that isn't perfect.

My favorite cartoon would have to be the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The animation was great, even one-time characters were designed brilliantly, it's set in the 80's - early 90's, and of course the everchanging soundtrack that follows through the show was designed brilliantly every step of the way.

I'll give two single 7 minute toons.
.. Duck Amuck...Chuck Jones...1953 Daffy,,,poor guy..
...Fast & Furious....Chuck Jones..1947..Wiley Coyote, Road Runner...Every time I watch that I laugh.... If it were 'best comedy" I'd go wit that too. I still use "what a way to run a railroad" though no one really knows why. :D And I'd add Daffy's Robinhood, what ever it's called.
But even if I include anime, my favorite all time show ever, is Code Lyoko. Such a unique combination of animation and character spirit. Nothing has ever come close for me until Oban Star Racers
I'd definately say Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies. Really? You'd include MerrieMelodies? Only about 5% of the time could I even stand watching those. That wasn't exactly Jazz era music was it,,, I'm thinking about 1930's I'm also thinking that's at least close to 'rubber hose" animation, that was refered to in a Grim and Mandy episode.

"Robin Hood Daffy" was its title. (REferenced by name in an episode of Tiny Toons once...)

The 1930s were noted for being big on jazz, but also is noted for being the era of "big band" or "swing" music (large bands playing upbeat, but not jazz-level upbeat, music). Thus, the Merrie Melodies cartoons of the era reflected both of these major music trends---as did other popular culture (radio, movies, records) of the day...
