First off, this has nothing to do whatsoever with Batman or Superman or whatever, but this is still very important to those properties. Why? Because <a href="http://www.thedigitalbits.com">The Digital Bits</a> reports that the company has announced their first box set of one of their major television properties: Friends. Here's the report:
"We've confirmed that Warner will soon release Friends: The Complete First Season on DVD! We don't have an official street date, but word is April 30th according to a few retailers. We'll post more details as soon as they're available."
Why is this important? Because this is the first of many box sets that WB is reportedly working on. And this is a box set of an ongoing show. Not a mini-series or TV movie, but a television series that's still on the air. And it's a box set!! This means that we could be seeing box sets of our favorite WB animated series like Batman, Animaniacs, and so much more. Stay tuned for developments on this front.
