What are some of the absolute WORST schemes villains have ever come up with? Heres one to start with:
Cobra Commander planning to carve a giant cobra logo into the moon. Destro said it best,,"You wasted our money on THIS? Cosmic Grafiftti?"

Yzma wins at dumb plans. She turned Kuzco into an elephant to stop him washing carts. "Elephants don't have hands, so there's no way he can wash a cart!"

Dragonball

The Leader of the Red Ribbion Army ULTIMATE PLAN: Hastle the world to get all 7 of the dragonballs. For world domination. Nay, tto use them to become taller.

Gundam Seed Destiny

Durandal went through some of the best manuipulation for world domination. His plan? To use some stupid Brave-New-World-esque plan that sounds so ludicris.

DCAU

Grollia Grodd masterminded a criminal organization that could take over the world. Instead, he tries to turn everyone into gorillias.

Kirby

King Dedede is up there with Crobra Commander as one of the stupidist plans ever to get rid of his opponets.

That James Bond spoof episode in Johnny Bravo where the mad geeky scientist (Pencil Neck I believe) wanted to use his Later-Looker-Legger-Lighter-Laser to transform people to look just like him.

For those who haven't seen it...

Care to elaborate on said plan?

Although not stupid by itself, Team Rocket's plans are pretty stupid since they're the same ones in nearly ever ep. "Let's make a hole/get a mechanical hand to snatch Pikachu while making our speech and then getting beat by Pikachu and random trainer Pokemon of the day." It gets really dumb when said process is repeated 300-400 times.:D

I also remember in the Kim Possible ep "Bad Boy" where Ron becomes a super evil scientist villian thanks to getting his goodness switched with Drakken's evil, his main overall plot was a scheme to get the world's... supply of Nacos. Relativley stupid since he made the Naco anyway so why would he need to threathen people to give it to him?

Thats what I was going to say myself. Cobra Commander really wasn't using that many brain cells when he thought of that.

I think Megatron/Galvatron's dumbest idea was trying to bring Cybertron to Earth. I never understood the point of bringing Cybertron to Earth. All that ever really does is cause all types of problems on both Earth and Cybertron. The worst part of it all is that it never works I would like to see what would ever happen if he was ever able to succeed. Even in a dream or somthing I want to understand the maddness.

Several of Mojo Jojo's schemes have been pretty hare-brained. Perhaps the worst was when he stole the Mayor's clothes, intending to wear them to pass for Mayor himself. As if that would've fooled anybody!

Knowing the people of Townsville I bet it would have work -.-

Well, as we've seen in my "characters in disguise" thread, and as Bugs Bunny notes, cartoon characters do seem pretty easily fooled by lame disguises... including people on PPG's show itself (see: "Powerpuff Bluff"). ;-)

The lamest plot is from a Johnny Bravo episode when the yarn-thief was stealing yarn so he can make a big bowl of yarn that will roll down and crush the city.

As if that would've fooled anybody! When he was shopping for stuff which he would use to take over the world he just put a cardboard mask on with a smily face.

His worst plot if you ask me is when he thought he would destroy the Powerpuff Girls if he got to babysit them.

Another good example from Kim Possible is pretty much all of Drakken's plan from Rappin' Drakken. He couldn't have made the intent of the shampoo any more obvious, from the name to actually saying that it brainwashes the user in advertising. Also, thinking that getting the shampoo mentioned in ANY song, much less a rap song, has to be the worst plan ever.

Drakken didn'T want to break the laws concerning truth in advertising XD

He's a super-villain, not a corporate crook :p

The Amoeba Boys have the dumbest schemes. They think dropping one sheet of paper on the ground is considered a crime. Also on the PPGs' birthday, they send the girls voo-doo dolls as presents without knowing how to use voo-doo dolls.

> (Mojo's) worst plot if you ask me is when he thought he would destroy the Powerpuff Girls if he got to babysit them. <

Actually, his plot in that ep ('Child Fearing') was to use his babysitter's authority to order the Puffs to help him take over Townsville.
But that strategy failed so miserably it counts as a Dumb Idea, all right.

Speaking of stealing candy, how about Mr. Burns in the Simpsons episode "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" He had Springfield in the palms of his hands after stealing the oil originally found under the school, then blocked out the sun to insure the town would be completely dependent on him and the nuclear plant for energy. But then he goes off to celebrate by trying to steal candy from a baby. He makes the mistake of trying to get Maggie's lollipop and winds up getting shot with his own gun. Talk about stupid!

The Funhouse is pretty out there too. And these are the Cobra plans that got greenlit.

top 3 rejected Cobra plans
3. alliance with Team Rocket and Swiper
2. "miraculous" tortillas and grilled cheese with CC's face on them
1. snakes on a plane
