Okay fast food is the name of the game, but heck with today's fast food wars it's a cornucopia of Copy cat burgers..
and believe me there are a lot
So tonight for all those Meat Lovers (and Some Veggie Lovers) we got a line up to Knock your socks off..
Here are the Contestants er combatants..
Burger King's BK Stacker --(Double, Triple, or the infamous Quad): Who here loves meat and Cheese and BBQ sauce? Well everyone does.. and I tried one of these burgers last night (A simple double) but still this burger for being Flame broiled was good. throw in some (onion) Rings, and a drink and you got yourself a meal.. but at about 4 and a half bucks this burger is kind of pricy...(and even more for the Triple and the All Elusive Quad..)
McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder Cheese Burger: an oldie but a goodie, but still they pile on the extras (Lettuce tomato onions, etc, and if you don't special order, well then that's what you get.. It's cheaper then the BK but i feel it has less flavor (Where's the BBQ sauce?)
Jack in the Box's Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger: Not bad for the 5 buck price of a value meal (Just like BK), but instead of BBQ sauce you get mayo and Onion sauce..(Makes it taste good (Throw in a little taco sauce and you got a winner).
Carl's Jr's Western Bacon Cheese burger (Rings in with the sauce) .. This one is sort of like the BK Stacker mixed in with Large (no not Large, HUGE!) onion rings smothered in BBQ sauce and it doesn't taste bad, but still the oinion rings are a bit over kill
Wendy's (Double Cheese): Wendy's has always been the square (and i mean the burger but not the food), and it has a nice (But greasy) Two patty square layered burger..(Optional Extras)
so did I miss any? (If not well eh let the burger battle begin! (YUM!)

I think you got Mcdonald's and Wendy's reversed. McDonald's double quarter pounder only comes with mustard, ketchup, onions, pickles, and cheese. Wendy's half pound double is the burger that comes with lettuce, tomato, and onions, not to mention ketchup, mayonnaise, and cheese.
Anyway, the commercial for Burger King's stacker makes me sick, it's like they're advertising that it's unhealthy. I mean, have you seen the commercial where the little guy gets pissed off because they put veggies on the burger? It reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons where Bart goes "Eat AROUND the banana, it's just empty vitamins." I mean, if you want to eat a fattening burger fine, but at least put some vegetables on it, I mean, how can you eat a burger without some tomatoes or at least some onions? That's nasty. I hope that little guy who gets pissed at the veggies dies of a heart attack.

Actually, I usually eat burgers with nothing but cheese on them. I absolutely hate ketchup and mustard...same goes for onions and tomatoes. Lettuce is fine, so I'll leave that if it comes on the burger, but I'm a big fan of the "plain" cheeseburger. Nothing "nasty" about it in my mind.
With that being said, I suppose I'd choose Wendy's if I was looking for a burger, but I usually order chicken when I eat fast food. I never liked McDonalds' nuggets, but I think their Chicken Selects are quite good. :anime:

Having tried the BK Quad Stacker a few times, it's essentially Burger Valhalla
Allthough I am partial to the Wendy's Triple and the McDonalds Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese
The Stacker has bacon and that barbeque sauce as well as loaded with the most cheese out of the three. You also don't need fries after eating the burger, it pretty much fills you up.
Best of all they don't even put pickles on it to begin with

I guess the reason why I am asking this question is that way back about three to four days ago I was watching a Food channel on TV, when someone was talking about hamburgers, and in fact I had never heard about.."The Riley."
What is a "Riley " you ask.. you might want to be extremely hungry for this burger..
The Riley Burger is aBoston Favorite and was named for a Husky College Footabll Player in Boston by the last name of course of Riley. and this guy could pack away the food..
But here's what a Riley Consists of...
6 Pieces of Burger meat fused together with 12 pieces of American Cheese.. all stacked on top of a burger bun..(Even the BK Quad doesn't even come close..
this Riley burger comes in at a whopping 2 pounds and with a 5 pound fry side dish, make it one of the hardest burgers to stomach in the world.
so then why the contest? well think about this.. each burger joint has their own Riley burger Varitation.. and you can see it in the way they make things.
I mean BK has their Stacker, McDonalds has there Big Macs and Double QUarter Pounders with Cheese, Carl's Jr. has their Western bacon Cheeseburgers, Jack in the box has their Ultimate Bacon Cheese Burgers, and yes even Wendy's has their doubles and triples.
but this all comes down to a simple question
How much meat.. can you eat?
as for myself I can say after trying a "BK Double stack" that the burger isn't half bad, it's pretty good really but for it's price, it's a little steep on the wallet price.
Edited Note: It's funny also I mention the Riley.. When I actually ordered my Double Stacker, I asked the Person running the Register if she had ever heard of "The Riley" and in fact amazingly... she had!

What's nasty about it is you're basically just eating fat. Burgers don't tend to have too many vitamins to begin with, when you remove the vegetables you're making an unhealthy food even more unhealthy. You might as well call a BK Stacker a heart attack on a bun.

Yeah, I think I've heard you and others use the old "heart attack on a bun" statement a few too many times. It's not that I care really, since I already said that I rarely eat hamburgers. However, I think the detrimental effects that burgers can have on a person's health only fully come into play for people who are constantly eating fast food. If you go to McDonalds every day of the week, you're going to be rocketing toward a heart attack whether you have lettuce and tomatoes on your burger or not. It's not like vegetables magically cancel out the unhealthy nature of a hamburger.
If you think burgers are so repulsive without the veggies, I'm surprised you're willing to eat them even with the veggies.
Of course, I'm not a good one to preach to about eating healthy. I honestly don't care if I see 100 years of age.....how's that for a crappy attitude. :p

Just reading the poll options is enough to give someone a heart attack. I haven't tried all of those, but surely McDonalds isn't ever going to win a best burger competition. McD's is the Walmart of fast food.

I am very disappointed that one of the poll options isn't In-N-Out's Double-Double Cheeseburger.

Hmmm makes you wonder if the Defense Department is now Contracting Restaurants to create WMD's..):p :D

I think I'm done with BK too, and fast food in general. The other day I couldn't even finish a whopper because they threw it together so sloppily. Also, I'm finding out it's cheaper in the long run cooking at home.

I used to be a big fan of Wendy's burgers, but after making them so many times, it's hard for me to look at them as appetizing.
Allthough I am partial to the Wendy's Triple and the McDonalds Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese
Man, wrapping those triples after making them is so hard because they end up so massive. I wonder how people can eat them

I value my heart a little more. Don't want to sound arrogant or anything, but all those hamburgers (with all those gimmicks) just seem like heart-attacks on a plate. I'd rather go to the grill and make one myself.

Dang, whoever ordered that is really asking for a heart attack!
If I had to choose, I would go for the Carl's Jr. Western Bacon Cheeseburger since I love bacon burgers. The onions don't bother me too much at all. Though I never tried the Jack-in-the-Box bacon burger.
However, In-N-Out burgers trumps them all! :D

The bacon on Jack's Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger is too rubbery for my tastes, or at least it has been every time I've gotten it. I was a devout fan of their Ultimate Cheeseburger, but a couple of years ago, they changed the buns, and now they taste too bread-y.
Wendy's grates on my nerves because they don't have a proper double cheeseburger; they have a cheese doubleburger. I require at least one slice of cheese for every patty to consider something a true double cheeseburger. Two patties and one slice of cheese...feh!
I am kind of a fan of the BK Stacker, although I've only gotten the double. The sauce can be a bit much at times, and I'm so hopelessly addicted to BK's Buffalo sauce that I tend to get chicken fries and stockpile the little Buffalo sauce containers for my own nefarious uses.
If I have to get a fast food burger, I prefer going to Hardee's (more or less the same as Carl's Jr. is out west), although there aren't any conveniently located. I usually get Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries (http://www.fiveguys.com/) when I'm aching for a burger.

Is it my imagination or have the BigMacs gotten smaller?
I generally go for the BK Double Whopper, no cheese. Chik-Fil-A chicken sandwich is my alternative

On that list, the only one I really like is Wendy's, but I tried to have one of those "diabetes explosion" sandwiches today, and I only made it through 3 bites.
Otherwise, give me White Castle!
I knew there was a reason I only ate chicken sandwiches at fast food resturants.
For my money, the Wendy's double has the veggies and other products to be a complete meal, not a fat pill like the Stacker.

Fat Burger has a King of Kings contest for those who eat the most patties in the same burger. The one near me had a record of 28 1/2 pound patties in one sitting. Yet if you can finish that burger from In and Out, then they should pay for your liposuction and buy you a new car.
